Hi! Ive asked a couple times but I dont believe Ive gotten a clear answer. Is it possible to use Foundry/AIP to replace existing ERP software? I know a lot of development would have to happen but businesses such as mine always look for holistic solutions so we dont need to have multiple products.
Yes, but i would say most businesses would use Foundry as an ERP orchestrator. New workloads generally are built on Foundry. Think of Foundry as a central hub. But it can and does canalbalize workloads over time.
@@codestrap8031 sweet, thank you! I thought so given my layman’s understanding. We are a large healthcare org and trying to lay out a 5-10 year plan and even the option of bringing it under one cost structure and UI is appealing. We are absolutely INUNDATED with companies trying to bring AI to healthcare
@@codestrap8031Thats amazing, I figured as much with my non technical background. We have a large healthcare organization and we are inundated by companies offering AI solutions. But if I try to envision our business 10 years from now, I like the idea of Foundry/AIP as the platform upon which we could build everything and replace dumb products like Ultipro
100%. It's time to replace crapy software. What's great about Foundry is that it's easy to mold software to the business vs. the status quoe of molding the business to the software. I'm happy to help if you want some advice etc. There's a link to me Discord in the description.
Pentagon awards $480 million deal to Palantir for 'Maven' prototype May 29 (Reuters) Palantir has won a $480 million contract from the U.S. Department of Defense for a prototype known as the Maven Smart System, the department said, opens new tab on Wednesday, deepening the data analytics provider's work with the Pentagon. The contract has an expected May 2029 completion date and follows the Defense Department's solicitation of a sole bid, it said.
What’s the argument for why palantir will become anything more than an ai agent developer consulting company with 0 incremental recurring revenue growth once the dust settles with ai?
The fact that the value of foundation models is heading to zero and that AIP and Foundry represent 10 years and 2 billion in development for a walk-up usable platform to build GenAI applications. With zero switching costs and a built-in evals framework so you can use the best model for your workloads. IMO, the alternatives require a lot more cost and engineering resources to get to production.
@@codestrap8031 ok so your hinging your investment decision on the plan that the developers and management teams of data analysis will care more about ease of deployment than customizability and cost optimization? Cause that’s what you get from microsoft autogen and amazon products. If you think they have nothing more than foundation models or even that generative ai isn’t old news compared to setting up teams of agents your really letting your bias get in the way of making objective investment decisions.
@@codestrap8031 so ease of deployment more important than customizability and cost optimization and… they spent a lot of time and money (2 bill is peanuts for their competition btw) is what your betting on?… yikes.

We the Palantir community love you! keep doing what you're doing! You're our only insider, haha.
Palantir and Coffee😍😍😍
Thanks for making my weekend better, Code!
this is great content! great to hear high level thoughts about how the products work and how palantir can improve
Imagine 50 hose pipes in your garden. Palantir untangles the pipes to allow the water - data stream, to flow. 🙏
Boooom, it's late evening here (Belgium) so I'll have to add some bourbon to that coffee!
Bourbon = the great American Export.
Irish up that coffee to get the real Hobbit Party started. Appreciate the content, dude.
I just ran across this video and didn't realize that you had your own RUclips channel. Just liked and subscribed!
Let’s fucking goooooooooooooooooooo the nostalgia! Where can I get that mug???
I would love hoodies back in the store.
GOOOOOOD MORNING PALANTARDS !!!!
How did you find my companies architecture diagram…😅
I would love to hear about those failures!! Looking forward

What about other solutions like Microsoft fabric? Unfortunately I'm not technical enough to gauge if it's a threat or not
What year is it!?
Really well done!

do you think palantir missed its window? seems like it is getting wildly outpaced by the big boy competition
Not at all. To my knowledge, they are outpacing the big players when it comes to applied AI.
Nice intro :)
Are the tools available in the EU?
Not for the public/developer stacks. Enterprise and builders' offerings are available for the EU.
I miss you CodeStrap
