Ever since i started brawlhalla -lastweek- ive been wanting to play Cross.. because his moves dont really seem that useful.. but if used CORRECTLY.. can be devastating! They're also really fun to use..! And not just his moves.. but his over-all character is so FRICKIN' COOL... I plan on maining Cross.. no matter how hard it may be.. Thank you for this guide!

@@thatrandomcrit5823 I know! I did work on my spacing and see how far i successfully hit someone, but, i still cannot hit someone since everyone combos me in the air with that spear. The one Queen Nai has its kinda annoying.
so being someone who's played Cross since 2016, i can say the only thing i would like to add is about the neutral sig for the gauntlets. one hat trick i like to pull is to neutsig over the opponent while there attacking. the neutsig recovers as soon as you hit the ground, so i'll follow it with a pethora of options; sidelight, neutlight x2, neutlight x2 plus side light, downlight, or neutlight x2 sidelight with neutair with sidesig if im feeling flavorful. the point is that you can catch your opponent off guard with the neutsig going over them and punish them accordingly
Finally platinum. I've only played Orion since I started. I've heard that I should learn a new main because i'll get better at the game that way, and Cross just seems like a better character once you learn him anyway. Should I slowly move into playing Cross instead of Orion?

To KO or set up an edgeguard. Or if you just want them out of your face Or if you want easy damage and don't want to or don't know how to string more damage out of slight (either because you don't know gauntlets well enough or your opponent is too good at dodging or w/e) ssig has more damage than nsig, and more var force (but less fixed), so dlight ssig kos earlier than dlight nsig Also, dlight ssig works from white I don't see any reason /not/ to mention the string, even if it's just so you can say why you think it's a bad idea.
I assume you did not test the dlight ssig at around 120 damange (around kill range). The dlight hits a bit too high to still be 3 dodge frame window btw which is 5 dodge frames. Saying 3-dodge-frame could lead to confusion. Below that dlight slight would always be my choice over that 5 dodge frame string.
damn, thats a pretty good guide, speaking of which i kinda returned to brawlhalla recently, i bought cross over artemis because 1. i like mafias 2. i like demons 3. his kit was pretty unique in it's own way from the rest, gauntlets covering ranges both close and far, blaster signatures outranging most other attacks and made specifically to punish people for their mistakes. 4. i would have picked Artemis only cuz she has a cosmic scythe but i just mentioned 3 reasons i like cross, cuz he is a cross of what i like. anyway back to what i was about to ask: how do i use my signatures in mid air like you did, like the gauntlets' down signature while im in mid-air and not do that downward slam attack?
No hate Berthen, I love your guides. However, in new ones to come including an ideal stance would be nice. That is something I think about a lot, and whether I am using the stances effectively. Thanks

tip when your enemy is climbing uo the edge try to time your right or left sig to catch them in midair and get a easy point

to do a gravity cancel you have to jump, and then dodge in mid air, without holding on any directions, then right away use an attack
