If you're a beginner like me, here's an easier way to learn. It's only on the B and high E strings.
Start with 2 open notes on the E, then one note on the first fret, then two notes on the third fret, then one note on the first fret again, then one more open note, after the open note go to the third fret of the B string. Then two notes on the first fret of the B string, one note on the third fret, two open E notes, then two more 3rd fret B notes. Then, repeat the whole thing again, but at the very end, instead of going 1B-1B-3B-0E-0E-3B-3B, it goes 1B-1B-3B-0E-3B-1B-1B.
So, the whole tab goes like this:
B:x x x x x x x 3 1 1 3 x x 3 3 x x x x x x x 3 1 1 3 x 3 1 1
E:0 0 1 3 3 1 0 x x x x 0 0 x x 0 0 1 3 3 1 0 x x x x 0 x x x

Start by playing it really slowly until you're comfortable with it, and then just build up the speed. Take your time

I don't know if anyone has told you yet, but I think there is something wrong with the tabs. Because on the written tabs picture on the second ending when you get to the place where it says C above you play 1 and 3 on the 2nd and 5th strings, and on the tab is says 1 and 1 on the 2nd and 5th string. :D

@73Redd Well, I like to think of it as the difference between playing and listening. There are many styles and compositions you don't like, and won't listen to, but that doesn't mean you won't enjoy actually PLAYING them.

I've always "cheated" when I've played fingerstyle (that is, I've used only my thumb and index finger for playing the bass and treble notes) and it works for the most part...however, I wanted to learn how to play fingerstyle correctly with PIMA or whatever it's called and this is the first song I'm working on while learning to play this way. It's (this arrangement) not overly difficult, but it's a good finger workout and gives me good practice using all my fingers, and actually can't be played correctly without using them all. Which I'm glad for because then I'd be tempted to go back to playing incorrectly.

Instant goosebumps. Thank you for uploading, this is the best fingerpicking version. Now Im gonna focus entirely on this version and learn to play it. Hope the tabs are right, I saw someone above here mentioning an error in the tab.
Ps do you use 4 fingers in the beginning and if so, can you please explain? I see thumb on 4+5, index on 3rd, then middle and or ring on the 1st string, or is the middle just dangling along? If so, is it wise (in this case) to use middle instead of ring?

Practiced this 5-15 min a day. Started guitar from scratch in march 2020.

This is cool and the easiest and more harmony the merrier, I have been playing this with only the last 2 strings that is the string 1 and string 2 as you say. Anyway keep up the good work.
I do feel that If you'd have played it a little bit slower, It would be beautiful. I know speed is the thing you don't care about, it's the Harmony. Waiting for more free lessons, Thanks GURU
