One of the things that is so fabulous about Nightwish is that anyone of them will take a backseat to let the others shine. Did anyone notice that Emppu is not there? Marko and Troy had the guitar work covered, Floor sang backing and Tuomas just mellowed out in the background with the keyboards. Not many famous musicians out there would so easily and happily take a backseat. This is one of their songs that I could listen to on an endless loop.

Whenever they play this (and other songs with Marco on lead vocals),Floor not only shows with her vocals that it is indeed Marcos song,but she sits herself in the background until towards the end,then she joins in up front. Floor came in and brought such a unique chemistry,peaceful aura and atmosphere around her. Nightwish never looked this complete on stage with the 2 other vocalists. No hate towards them (im actually a huge "fanboy" of Tarja,but then Floor happened to me) The guys are all smiles on every concert they do,i never saw that under Tarja or Annettes days. And it also goes to show,Floor with her talents couldve EASILY become a super diva,stealing the show and "demanding all the attention". But what makes her skyrocket above alot of great singers,is that she is soo sweet,caring,humble and lovable! She deserves a massive golden statue of her!😍💞 (From the legendary Wacken 2013 concert,that has been a idea of mine for a long time allready) I have heard and read from Dutch/Holland people that she allmost doesnt get any coverage in Dutch media. Thanks for doing this one. This was the song that really brought me to Nightwish. It's very sentimental to me. If you want more Marco with Nightwish I would recommend The Islander. His band Tarot (done with his brother) is pretty awesome. He's also done a lot of work with a band called Delain. Sing To Me is awesome. I also love The Gathering.

Man, you should check Sinergy ,. IMO one of the greatest finish bands ever. 2 of the best finish guitarrists out there, marco on the bass guitar, and some sick drums and female (rockish) vocals. They only recorded 2 or 3 albums, but man... they are totaly worth it. If you want to react to a song, react to Midnight Madness, for is the only song with a 'decent' video. All live videos suck. If you don't want to react to them, just listen to a few songs. Im sure you will love them. Pay attention to the guitars... they are f* sick.
Marco Hietala gets underated because Floor is incredible. Marco is amazing, he has songs he sings in Nightwish as "While Your Lips are Still Red". Also he sings "The Islander". Marco also has solo work and took part of a project called "Northern Kings" with the best Heavy Metal singers in Scandinavia IMO.

Marco doesn't use the usual dual guitar, if you look, it is a bass + guitar. The man is also a talented studio engineer/songwriter.
