Absolute legend. Thanks for the vid, very useful to know what you will be faced with when trying to change the switch on either 450/451. My 451 bugs me with a C1034 code (stop lamp switch related) and I can't select ANY gears. I will now try to change this brake switch first and see if it solves it. Many thanks brother!
I suggest to jack up the fronf at least,will be easier.Or can do on the floor but due to limeted space and if you never done before i think it wont be easy and quite long.Thank you for watching consider subscribe.
Much better to push the pedal down it help to set the switch length after installed.when you relese the pedal will automatic adjust the switch.you will see the one you buy is longer than the one you remove.install the new without push the top pin in.
Hi I had a positive and negative to the battery. The car has abs light and engine management. The code for brake light switch come up bad I can’t see brake when I press it. My car won’t go into reverse is this becusse the brake light switch needs replacing?
Hi did you checked the fuse for the brake light....i think is blowed off when you accidentally connect the battery wrong.I do not think in your case is the actual switch....check this and let me know.Appreciate if you like the video subscribe to channel.Thank you.

Sorry forgot to put that I accidentally connected positive and negative wrong way and it blew.
I took it to mechanic and he said the brake light switch might need replacing
This is because he said a erorr code was coming up relating to that
