I know I'm late to this video, but today it's been a full year since my dad died unexpectedly in the middle of the night. It left me with trauma, mostly affecting my ability to be around smoke because the main reason my father died was because of the smoke that spread due the US from the Canadian wildfires l. Your videos really do help alot and are incredibly comforting, thanks!

Happy Father’s Day! My dad walked away from me when I was a kid. I grew up with him cheating on my mom. Left us for my stepmother, and in 2013 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s. He died last December 26th. I found out about his passing on the 4th. I’ll be 59 in a few weeks and wish my dad would have loved me enough to want to raise me well. The scars are there but I’m healing. I think what you do is so awesome. Thank you.

I’ve been watching you for a while my father was in prison most of my life and he sadly lost his battle to depression 4/30/24 and you’re videos have been an inspiration to me thanks for what you do . I used to be a boy who wished he had his father to teach him the basics .

Just found out about you, and your videos, Wish I knew about you sooner, but I guess late is better than never. As an older mom about a year or so younger than you. I did not grow up planning on being a single mom. I have had to wear many hats over the years. Including trying to wear the dad hat the best I could occasionally. Especially since I have 4 sons and one daughter ranging from 37 yrs old to 17 yrs old, I have had wear the dad hat quite a few times, while just trying to wing it the best I can. Wanted to say Thank You for doing this and also letting you know you can keep the "dad hat" since I will now be able to say, "go ask dad" @ "Dad, how do I?" sometimes. Especially since I have been asked a few questions in recent history that I had to tell one of them go online, since I know there are tutorials on how to tie a tie, and I suggested he ask one of his older brothers when it came to shaving.
