This is the sixth generation Ford Explorer. Most reviews forget about the third generation Explorer which wasn't as popular as all the other models. And how much for this model Explorer today?
There horrible cars I’ve owned mine 7yrs since I bought it brand new and I’ve replaced almost everything but the motor and transmission! A Pillar comes off on the highway mine has sunroof and moonroof those lines clogged and caused water damage inside my vehicle from rain, not only have I had this issue probably 1,200 more people! Catalytic Convertor’s I’ve changed right and left side, also timing chain, vapor management, Coils and a few other things. Do NOT BUY this vehicle
@@vivian2776wow ... I heard they are great and relible cars Your comment amazed me you had junk not car Maybe you just had lemon or it's prone to problems idk 😐 One thing is sure I searched for it after what you wrote.... Looking no more for this junk
@@vivian2776have a 2013 limited and agree the sunroof fails, however all sunroof drains in all cars will clog eventually if stuff gets stuck in it. Not a hard fix to unclog your sunroof. I suggest having good warranty and keep upkeep good or they will go faulty. Never had an issue with mine after getting transmission replaced once after I got it, and it was free. Definitely wouldn’t trade it though genuinely I love the seats and the features it has. The cadillac SRX doesnt do it for me anymore and am much more comfortable in the explorer.
I love the 5th generation Explorer that was ever produced, I don’t like the 6th one it is broken up, and the 2018 was destroyed by it bumper.
I have a 2017 for two years.
I love it. shape and function.
What’s fuel economy

Great!
These come with complimentary exploding ptu’s and failing electric steering gears while you’re driving.
I’ve heard they have had issues with steering but it’s not wide spread, and that’s why I stay alway from AWD systems!
They are garbage 🗑️ car only good while brand new with risk of loosing your life with recalls 😂
The Ford Explorer fifh generation stayed from 2010 to 2019
