When aliens finally arrive from planet X, this willing be the first place they visit. "Saw your video on RUclips. We need a spare topper for the flying saucer!"
Nothing nice and safe about trimming outside of pin. Standing directly in front of the part you are trimming is inviting a headful of stitches from a 6 inch piece of trimming. Not to mention having your brains knocked out from a flying piece of aluminum getting caught.Trimming on inside of pin gives complete control. As long as your trimmer is sharp, you're wearing a helmet, safety glasses, ear protection for noisy shop to say the least. Dean from N.C 12 years a spinner.
Yeah, I was not impressed by the lack of eye and hearing protection. On a long enough timeline, everyone’s survival rate drops to zero. He’s been lucky to have made it this far.
Hello my friend,This is Tomy, and come from China, we are manufacture of Aluminium circle,We can supply it for you,WhatsApp:0086-15176829513. Email:tomy@sinometalgroup.com
Awesome job, I've spun 18swg aluminium to similar sizes in the past, and it sure gives you a sore tit ! Just out of curiosity, what dia and swg blank is it you're spinning?
Let me make certain this is a serious video! No gloves! No eye protection. Loose clothing. Cluttered work space. Uhmm? One would presume your insurance is current? I wish you luck but please do NOT show this video to anyone who wants to keep their limbs and sight. Why don't you ask for a courtesy visit by OSHA?
Joseph Stokes Look at these guys: you can tell at a glance that they are utterly at one in their workspace and know exactly how to work safely and quickly. Probably a couple of generations of old-fashioned common sense are at work here, the kind of innate common sense that has kept the human race from going extinct long before somebody decided that we needed nannies to start guarding our eyes, ears and limbs. Stay awake, stay alert, know your craft, and accidents won't happen. I'd vote for MORE videos showing working habits like these, to demonstrate how good work CAN (and has been, for centuries) be done without submitting a triplicate risk assessment first.
Surely if they had any common sense they wouldn't be posting videos of themselves on RUclips blatantly breaking health and safety laws. If an employee had an accident the HSE would be all over this video!
Gloves are dangerous - they catch - that is hardly cluttered, eye protection, maybe, but safety glasses get dirty too quickly and its better to be able to see - your comments could only come from ignorance - these guys obviously know what they are doing, unlike many 'spinners' that post videos! from a 40 years precious metal spinner
It's good to see the old skills still being used.
A very skilful job.
Respect to them.
That calendar in the background 😂 like to see old skills being used though! Great job guys!
I ran machines like this for 3 years here in the states. An interesting job to say the least!
Absolutely terrifying. One misstep, and the operator could be turned to mince meat. Much respect for his skill.
great video .. looks like hub caps for big foot the monster truck ..

Trimming from the outside of the pin. Nice and safe. 👍 Couldn't quite see, did you put a bead on that?

Zero fucks given for even the most basic safety measures...
At least put on some damn safety goggles, just asking for metal shards in their eyes!
And hearing protection. No safety-squints for your ears.
