16:02 Ah... the plant was fully grown and ready to be harvested when you destroyed it. Harvesting it would have given you a seed (at least I got one every time on the gogaol fruit). When it's marked 40/40, you hit it with the scrapper twice to harvest. Also back in the dome you got the big hab from, there's another scanable that gives the extended solar panels which let you snap another set of panels to the ones on the side. One thing I did was make just an airlock (as you can put the corridor miner on the airlock as well) with a miner and wall storage at mining location (nickel, silver, iridium) and let them sit until I need it. Alas, the teleporters won't snap into a corridor so they need a habitat so the nickel and iridium sites got an airlock/hab.
better yet put in a round room too and a teleporter in it. have a miner in every resource field, even the iridium one. then just bounce around gathering the resources when you need them.
Iridium is in the green zone, the rocks are green not red. Take the summon get right under a small rock, quickly hop out mine it and hop back in. And there is another warp coordinate some where in the main area.
There is a big asteroid miner, 4 parts to scan scattered about i know 2 are by the yellow dome, they draw alot of power, but u can put them on copper, iron and crystal nodes. There is another warp gate to find, with mineable rocks in it, blue crystal, and nanite, just FYI teleporters dont work between warp gate areas ( wish i knew before building an entire base there lol) Its worth getting a little base setup inside the green cloud, airlock, room, teleporter and mining laser, just to get Iridium easily, which u will need if u invest in the larger miners. There is also a base inside the cloud, with ur last ship upgrade, good luck finding anything in that soup :P Ive basicallly completed the content so far, but keep going back and adding improvements to my base, think my power is like 3200 now, with miners everywhere, totally unnecessary lol, its a very addictive game, its good to c u playing thu it, shown me a few things ive missed so thank you :)
Ye, i did kinda the same, i built 4 asteroid miners in the cloud, also in the nickle area and there is also coal area like above gold deposit, so i built like another asteroid miners here. Wish i could knew if i am missing some blueprints, cuz i think the last thing i unlocked was a hook tool tier 2 thingies , hook distance and i believe hook speed. Cant wait for another updates
and I noticed you got it anyway through placing your advanced battery ALSO, there are actually 2 warp coordinates. you have one, I can't remember where the other one is, off the top of my head.
tips: upgrade your backpack and jetpack (you seem to keep forgetting about that 😅), you can rename the storage units for better organisation, visit the theta 9 station again with the new keycards you found. you can build small habbitats (the round ones) high up with a solar on top and then a miner on the bottom, add some additional storage in them and connect a teleporter
You should be able to get more purple celestite seeds at the yellow bio-dome each time you reload the game. You should also be able to farm red celestite in the red cave each time you reload the game now as well.
Great video, one of the few that actually played the game and didn't just stick with the demo. It helped me select games for my end of year list haha =)
An idea: you could plonk an airlock right outside the Green Mist, and put a Miner Laser on it - the Laser is unaffected by the Mist, so it could mine Iridium without biting the big one.
You missed Beta-12 which you get when going to Alex Turners room with the keycard you found ? and at Beta-12 you can mine Blue Crystals & Nanites & Iridium is found in the green toxic clouds need that suit and theer is a base in the green cloud too to get more blueprints
If you wanna get gold (before deposit miners) then go to the big ship that's split into 3 parts, between each "segment" there's gold asteroids. Deposit miners mine from unlimited deposits, and you need to scan 4 pieces to unlock it. I've found 6 such pieces, 2 at yellow dome, 1 at nickel location, 1 at research outpost, 1 above the solo-dome on the way to research, and last one aprox between that dome and big broken ship. All of them are around deposits which are either big crystal looking rocks or those big red speckled ones.
If you're looking for Iridium and you're fast enough, the rocks in that corrosive toxic zone are full of the stuff. Without the green suit, you will need to be fast in order to mine one of them to make it.
Iridium is in the green clouds you can use med kits and a TON of batteries to mine it, it took about 3 batteries to mine one and it gave me 5 iridium rocks
Man, you definietly have to unlock these flying containers, some of them have blueprints which you need. You could check the area with two domes one close to the other, its on the way to yellow dome. Second area is also on the way to the yellow dome, there is a giant crushed ship cut in 3 parts, i doubt its worth exploring 😉
The iridium is in the green toxic gas and they are the small drillable rocks and look kind of green. The bigger iridium rocks tumble around. Wait until you get the toxic suit to drill the bigger iridium rocks.
15:50 Wouldn't hitting that with your Scrapper have gotten your seed back? 🤔 (And the harvested material... but it should have done that for you when deconstructing anyway.)
@@Damian4132 That's what I thought. Though someone did claim that harvesting too early causes you to lose the seed, so people should maybe watch out for that. Haven't tested it.
A wall storages has 21 slots and take 5 power each but are stackable in a habitat. Where as the medium storage has 42 slots and takes 10 power each with a larger footprint needed.
I built my base in two seperate parts... One part is my working area with all the vehicle stuff and the other is just for producing power for my bases so i can expand both withiut them limiting each other.
In previous video i notice at the end of basic solar panel is green circle and make me thinking that you can attach another one to make one long solar panel and maybe its same for batery?
I wonder whether the new area you warped to indeed isn't mineable at all at the moment yet, or if the asteroids are just too big for your hand laser? I wonder if the game lets you build an asteroid miner there and if that will then in fact mine those asteroids?

You can just build a corridor and put an Asteroid miner on it in certain Asteroid fields then come collect the minerals since power is universal.
Actually just put in an airlock
@@KnightRanger38 No need to spend the fabric, although you can craft it now it is still more effort to farm than iron/copper.

Z, u need to remember to upgrade your backpack. And don't forget to visit room that u already have keys.

game has a lot of promise, the ambitious raodmap is amazing. I've enjoyed the game so far, and I'm looking forward to new updates!
fyi, there is a solar panel extension you can scan. at one of the domes.
and I noticed you got it anyway through placing your advanced battery
ALSO, there are actually 2 warp coordinates. you have one, I can't remember where the other one is, off the top of my head.
@@stormquiver last keycard is the answer
There are currently giant asteroids around the map for iron, copper, quartz and gold that you can put a deposit miner on once your able to build them.

There are a bunch of gold asteroids by the broken ship near the vertical station. Might want to setup a corridor miner to collect them.
At 30:30 in the last episode he mentioned all the gold there, but it looks like he might have forgotten. 🤔
After you build the 2 vehicles, you don't need the Vehicle Station, just fyi to save power and resources.

If you build a corridor with a miner on the edge or inside of the green gas cloud near the warp gate it can harvest iridium for you over time.
I tried this and it didn’t work

I can't wait to get ahold of this game it's on my wishlist since the first video
You need to find the pieces for the deposit miner. Can use on the bigger asteroids
Try using your scrapper tool on that iridium. Should break it down
The iridium is in the green toxic gas and they are the small drillable rocks and look kind of green. The bigger iridium rocks tumble around. Wait until you get the toxic suit to drill the bigger iridium rocks.
You can make more than 1 item at a time on the advanced Fabricator, You only need to wait for the animation once.
15:50 Wouldn't hitting that with your Scrapper have gotten your seed back? 🤔 (And the harvested material... but it should have done that for you when deconstructing anyway.)
It allways gives the seed back once you mine it with scrapper, Z just kinda did goofed 😅

The bio-dome by the field of nickel asteroids has a bunker in it with supply.
I would move the planter before you put a seed in it, decide to put the corridor in, then lose another seed.
Love the series, just FYI there is another set of warp coordinates you can find, but nothing to do there yet like the first one. Thanks
19:50 is it just me or does that look like Santa sleigh on the far left?
Have you tried to directly attach the docking bay and stuff? It should work the way it did in subnautica.

Charge the vehicle batteries please
if you can, then put the big rooms side by side
The biggest bummer about this game is that since we are in space, why do objects automatically slow down and cannot maintain inertia?
The warp gate all so let's to theta 12 witch has blue Cristal deposits
where do you get that roof solar panel?
its in the yellow dome, kinda looks like a landing pad, its easy to miss for sure
@@Raziel7888 thanks!
You didn't craft one of the vehicle modules. Also the bottom slots are for tools.

he build new storages to move, but didnt organize the new place when he already had a lot of empty storages
make some farming bases
Just like planet crafter the power is global so there's no need to move batteries and solar panels around

there is a 3rd warp location. full of blue crystals
Not just blue crystals, there is also nanites there too.
Didn't he kind of miss the whole point of the power being "wireless" and he could just leave the batteries and solar panels at the first base?
What happened to the skipper????
"I need gold for chipset" looks in the storage, completely misses a stack of chipsets...
ahhhh yes, that sounds like me lol
