Do you have any information about creating online business. I’m a South African interested in selling digital products and print on demand products on Etsy. The print on demand supplier is based in America and I’d likely setup my store to only sell the print on demand products to Americans to make the shipping cheaper. (The design to be printed on a cup or tshirt goes straight from Etsy to Printify who prints and ships the product)
Etsy automatically deals with the sales tax, but we as sellers would have to pay income tax on our profits - would it be as simple as paying income tax here in South Africa?
Question: I'm in the process of starting a small vegetation farm and after viewing your video on how to employ someone, you mention a lot about contracts and how that affects SARS. Seeing that I'll be working in a remote area with casual workers coming in and out on a daily basis, how do I document this if SARS come knocking for contractual reasons? Will stipulating them as "casual" on the payroll suffice? Appreciate all the videos, very informative.
