I looked at the manual but it is not explicit... Is the filter ANALOG? Is the signal path for the filter analog? E.g. does it always get converted for DSP if you don't use the delay block?
You've said it pairs nicely with other artifact's effects. So how does it work? Is there simplified version of the filter as at the output of each effect? Plus additional extended version of the filter as it's own effect type? Or can all the effects be used at the same time while the effect type switcher only chooses which one is being controlled? Or do you have to run two artifact pedals to combine the effects?
Some of the effects in the center already combine multiple effects. For example, if you are using the LADDER effect, you can hit the second switch footswitch and engage the reverb. Beyond what we've already set up, you would need to connect to our NEURO 3 editor for mobile (iOS or Android) or desktop (Mac or Windows) and make the changes in the editor, then save them to your pedal. Here is a link to our website, where you can download NEURO (it's free) - www.sourceaudio.net/publicbeta.html The only thing you can't do is run two time-based effects at the same time because there is only one time-based section in the editor and all of the time-based effects come from there. The time-based effects include: reverb, echo, vibrato, flanger, and chorus.
@@sourceaudioeffects Fantastic, thanks for the response, it has helped me to understand the offering without having to read manual. Now if I still have your attention, may I ask one question about Nemesis? Why are the additional delay types not selectable without Neuro? If I understand correctly, all the algos are in the firmware. Patches with all types of algos can be recalled from preset memory without the need of running Neuro. Why can't I use them without the app connected?
Nice explanation and an awesome pedal. I've only scratched the surface of what it can do, but I'm really enjoying it.
❤is there an equivalent effect/setting for C4Synth/Spectrum?
No. We didn't develop our Ladder Filter until we started working on this pedal.
I think the C4 got more depth and bass. This pedal sounds thin , perhaps a blend nob for original bass to blend into the mix?

This video says it took a lot of work to model the filter effect, so it's DSP, which Source Audio does so well.
Yes, this is a digital pedal. The majority of our pedals are DSP based.

The filter can be applied to ALL of the Artifakt sounds.

@@RadekPilich You can use them without Neuro. Just save them to a preset location, and you never need to use the app again.
Can I switch to 2 Pole or just 4Pole?Thanks for an Answere.
No, the Aritfakt only has the a 4-pole version of the ladder filter.
Thx for the answere.
Giddy Geddy...🤣🤣🤣
