Wow. Thanks for the videos. Just found you. We did Lava Butte also the big obsidian flow the cave was closed when we tried to go I love that you like this as much as I do keep the content coming please
Been living in Bend nearly 20 years and I've never managed to go visit this cave. Been wanting to for ages, but just never have found the time. I'm gonna fix that. Less than a month till it closes for the season. I'm committing! Gonna do it before August is over! Great video, looks like you had a lot of fun.
Love your energy! 0:10 FYI (respectfully) Mt Mazama was the location of the Crater Lake caldera forming eruption 7,700 years ago. You should visit that site...it is stunning!
I’ve been to Crater Lake = Mt Mazama several times. Never heard of these lava tube caves. I have been in several lava tube caves south of Klamath Falls Oregon.
I don't recall that lava river cave was created by an volcanic eruption in 70,000 years ago, as I was pretty sure that it was formed in 7,700 years ago when Newberry produced rift zone eruption near Bend (where the cinder cone with lava flow is formed there). I'll have to take a second look on geological history again if I am mistaken. Nonetheless, excellent video! Nice to see this near my home. (Yes, I live in Oregon!)
Deep beneath the Oregon sky, In lava’s labyrinth, shadows lie, Cold and dark, the cave’s embrace, Whispers of time in its hidden space. Tube within a tube, winding through, Silent tales of ancient hue, Drips and dust in soft descent, Echoes of the earth’s lament. Sand gardens sculpted by time’s hand, Spires rise from the subterranean sand, A world where silence paints the scene, In the quiet, nature's art is seen. Emerging to the sun’s warm kiss, The cave's cold grip fades to bliss, A journey through the earth’s deep veil, Left with memories, a timeless tale.
I fell asleep watching the stream last night and just finished the rest of the video, this was a great one!! Idk if these places allow pets but would be great to see noodle venture out with you in some of these ❤❤
My friends house backed up to the lava fields. We explored it constantly, sometimes taking an hour or more to move a few hundred feat. We once found a small opening that went down several hundred feet and when we tried to go deeper the air became hot and became hard to breath and burned our eyes like chemicals. We could get to a Point where we saw a faint glowing but could never get deeper than that because we couldn't breath. I want to go back and explore it but I'm to fat now to fit in the opening and it's been more than twenty years so I'm not sure if I could find it again although I know it's general location. There's definitely a few spots that have heat emitting, maybe a thermal vent.
14:33 Percolating?! First the ring of fire, now it’s time for the percolator! All my Chicago people know what to do! 🕺 17:00 Above Earth, Alexa the Ayyylien confirmed 👽 you heard it here first 🎉 W video love exploring behind the screen, need to go out and explore irl though
@@LexploreOutdoors aye yo you might be onto something with that one 👀 & oh you don’t know how Chicago people get down?! I mean, you are an ayyylien so makes sense
@@LexploreOutdoors maybe they are a bit saver then the men-made mines "Limburgse Matse". Some of the passages have collapsed, there's boobytraps, I'm sure you can meditate a lot of your down there on your own 🙃😅
Well expec the caves to be trashed now. Quit making videos of our local hangouts. Now we've gotta deal with a bunch of disrespectful out of staters trashing everything.
That is so freaking awesome. Thankyou for showing us
Thank you for watching! 😊
I am really loving these new videos!! Keep these coming!

Haha what do Chicago people know to do??
Above Earth, on top of Earth?

Not sure it's the same one (there are more than one) but about 50 years ago, went in winter... awesome with ice pillars.
Being in that cave looks super calm but terrifying at the same time 😅
So is that a no from you on crawling in a cave?
@@LexploreOutdoors id try it
Spelunker helmet; you were prepared!
Always… or rarely…
Go check out the Ape Caves in southern Washington. Just did the more challenging cave there and had a blast.
It's nine miles from my house to Lava River Cave, and I've never gone there. 😆
The guy must have had a heck of time getting his deer down there back then.
💯😂
Found a top 20 most beautiful spots in Oregon and im now officially jealous. Can we have Gofest Oregon next year so i can visit all of them?
GO Fest Netherlands then GO Fest Oregon would be incredible 💯
@@LexploreOutdoorsI'll be your tourguide in the Dutchlands. Lexplore might need a year 🙃
You should go to Valley of the Gods one day! Soo pretty there
Big recommendation! Where is that at?
@@LexploreOutdoors San Juan County in Utah, it’d be a bit of a drive but so worth it
Add several interesting 😅
I noticed that when I was editing 😅
How was your adventure? I hope it was smooth sailing.
Im so scared of going in to caves like these. Imagine being there on your own without a guide!!! 😅
It was so empty though. Like only bugs & bats live down there. Imagine how cool a meditation sesh would be!
@@LexploreOutdoors maybe they are a bit saver then the men-made mines "Limburgse Matse". Some of the passages have collapsed, there's boobytraps, I'm sure you can meditate a lot of your down there on your own 🙃😅
yeah keep them coming but change the host!
Lave River Cave was created from the Paulina volcano, not Mt Mazama.
In the cave the temperature is UK summer and outside is the same
Are you referring to my freedom units? 😂
@@LexploreOutdoors you say freedom I say wrong
Is that a light on your head or does your forehead have a bright idea??
Haha😂
Good one 😏 I missed the opportunity to play “Hello darkness, my old friend” while I was inside.
12:16 Might be good for you or extremely toxic… that’s a WIDE spectrum
A coin flip really 😂
You look so beautiful as my potential partner never changing my immortal legend just for you 💋 hugs*
