I like the way he did that at the beginning of the video. Good common sense way of doing it and actually smart and cost-effective. And non-destructive. Seems fun.
Morning fellas , 5 days left are you going to show us the trip total?? A bit later on.Hope your happy with it. Hard to imagine there’s mostly only sub grammars left over there. Still with the right area and the right machine and operator there may be hope for something above 10 grams do you think Nick. Thanks again for the video. Cheers Greg
Hi Greg, we will have a total weigh in at the end :) There's still plenty of gold around mate you just need to be lucky enough to walk over it. You need to go to more remote locations to try and find the bigger stuff, the popular areas have been well and truly worked over.
@@nickgordon9445 Thanks Nick, Just out of curiosity ,how do you think you would have gone over there this time if you just had the 4500 and the 18” elite. Other than a sore shoulder from the weight Ha Ha.Heavy beast compared with the 6000. Cheers Greg
The 4500 is still a fantastic machine, in the past i used to use the 17x 11 elite over there with the 4500 and did quite well, you would cover a lot more ground, no one gets it all, quite a few bits of gold i found with the 6 would have been picked up with a 4500, i would recommend getting well off the main roads and looking for the more remoter areas if using one to try and locate unworked areas.@@wdgreg589
