Void and strand two burst hand cannon would go insane on my most used prismatic build, which is all about void and strand. The only question is, would it go void-strand for the energy slot or strand-void for the kinetic slot? Or could you have an alt fire trigger to swap them, causing the first bullet only to either sever or weaken after a certain number of precision hits
probably void-strand in the energy slot, to mirror conditional finality being stasis-solar in the kinetic slot

Honestly with it being strand and void it’ll probably work somewhat like Two tailed and in this instance they’ll keep it in the kinetic slot

Would also be good if landing rapid precision or getting rapid final blows hits causes the void bullet to apply Weaken and the Strand bullet to apply Unravel, each for a short amount of time.
I feel that applying sever would be more probable than unravel. This also allows the Facet of Bravery to give perfect synergy for the Volatile and Unraveling rounds.

I'd like an exotic strand auto rifle "Neith's Fang"
Exotic Perk: "Huntresses Bite" On precision kills release a burst of suspend and add a stack of "War Thread" up to a max of 5
Intrinsic Perk: "Huntresses Web" Consume 5 stacks of "War Thread" to give you a 3 round burst linear fusion rifle shot, landing all 3 rounds on one target suspends the target and applies severing
Catalyst Trait: "Unending Threads" Killing Suspended Targets causes a burst of Suspend
This feels a bit mismatched, why not make it a special ammo scout rifle to focus on the “huntress” theme.

An idea as the exotic catalyst is could be hitting two headshots with both bullets so like hitting all headshots with 2 burst cause the target to be inflicted with a random strand debuff or a random void debuff like unravel volatile weaken severed etc.
surprisingly close to my original idea which granted elemental rounds base on your super when picking up an orb, that said bungie has sadly tries to veer away from randomness with gun effects.
@@Bersh-xq4jythan maybe we make it a mode switching exotic like hard light or boreal is where switching modes makes the weapons element switch or just switched the debuffs it’s putting out or make it like surros regime where you can switch what debuffs it apply via the weapon perks
@@Bersh-xq4jy Another idea closer to hardlight is give it a void mode and a strand mode when in light mode casting a light mode getting a kill your grenade grants volatile rounds getting a kill with your melee gives you weakening rounds and casting your class ability gives suppressing rounds and in dark mode it works the same with a grenade kill grants severing rounds getting a kill with your melee grants you unraveling rounds and casting your class ability then getting a kill creates a suspending burst this would eliminate the randomness and provide a way to build around what specific debuff you want

We have an exotic burst HC. It's called Crimson and she's been here the whole time. Also, being Kinetic, it would already grant both light and dark.

“In the dark” gave me the idea of an exotic that gives you some kind of buff when you stand in a shadow, like the shadows in prophecy dungeon
CATALYST makes the gun get unraveling and volatile rounds on orb pickup so a single trigger pull wipes a room
Orb pickup doesn't seem like a bad idea, although I feel as if it'd give weaken and sever instead.
surprisingly close to my original idea for the catalyst which granted elemental rounds base on your super when picking up an orb.
I would also make the reload very slow, but when you have the into light buff and onto the darkness buff using any ability reloads the gun.
Giving you a gameplay loop of using the gun get your abilities back fast use the abilities at the end of the magazine to reload the gun to start the loop again.
I feel like a catalyst for something like that would make it so after a kill or certain amount of kills you could alt reload and the strand shots would sever and the void shots would weaken or make the enemy volatile
Here's my take:
An Exotic 2-burst handcannon that shoots 2 different damage types at once, with it being able to switch between Light or Dark damage.
Strand and Stasis for Dark, and Void and Solar for Light.
So now you essentially have 4 damage types in one gun.
If it’s gonna be called “symphony”, I think it needs more than two instruments. I think it’d need strand and stasis on one shot, and the light elements on the other. Give it a chance of causing an elemental debuff once every 5 seconds. Gives more transcendence energy per shot.
honestly I just suck at naming things :P your idea is pretty similar to a scout rifle i submitted for the exotic polls before TFS dropped. (Also bungie is sadly veering away from "random effect" as seen with hawkmoon for better or worse)
Imagine if the weapon was craftable but had two variations, You can make it "Primarily" void (energy slot exotic) or "Primarily" strand (kinetic slot) the second perk could allow for weaken or sever based on what the "Primary ammo" type is.
I’d like a heavy burst handcannon with solar and strand that scorches and creates tangles. That would be wild.
I mean...we got the first kinetic trace rifle AND heavy trace rifle in one exotic. Pretty unique I'd say.
Prediction: the first prismatic trace rifle will be a rainbow laser like that game that shoots rainbows out of a unicorn butt.
I'd like to see Dreg's Promise as an exotic rocket side arm.
I would love a exotic that can just randomly proc a random debuff on shots it would be so funny.
So for example a HC with 5 shots and each has a random chance of either slowing the target, voltile, unravel etc etc. I know it would be kinds broken but it would also be hella funny

I really like the combo of the name of the gun and your rework messome. The 2 shots being void and strand is really amazing, because it's the unseen symphony of reality in D2.
My only addition for this overall idea is when you pop transcendence both shots are both elements. Have a good rest of y'all's day.
Shine in the Dark could be the name of the combined perk unless someone has something better

So basically when someone asks Unravelling rounds or Volatile rounds, this exotic will say "Why not both?"
I had this same idea before prismatic came out, but I said stasis and stand on the burst

I would kill for a strand/void weapon, and I’m a fan of the heavy burst archetype. I feel like the only multi-element weapons we have are the Fundamentals exotics and Conditionsl Finality. This would be outstanding.

While Frost Armor is active, increased stability and flinch resist
While Devour is active, increased bullet magnetism
Heavy sidearm called “Regret”
Instrinsic “Industrial rounds”: these bullets are extremely heavy and powerful, slower reload but a buttload of damage (can effect overload champions)
Element: Kinetic
Rpm: 110
I’m trying to make this as a reference to that old saying “I only feel recoil when shooting my gun” and Hellsing Ultimate Alucard weapon, the idea is this weapon makes the weilder into a monster and the only thing it feels when shooting the gun is either recoil or regret
That sounds more like an unstoppable gun rather than an overload gun
A heavy burst hand canon that fires solar and stasis, kills fill a meter that when full overcharges the mag and allows the gun to freeze then ignite on precision hits.
Or give the weapon the fundamentals and it fires all types void solar arc strand and stasis but ots no longer a heavy burst it's 180 with a base MAG of 15 so every element is atleast fired 3 times

My least favorite part of the exotic weapon ideas series is how they're not in the game!
Not every weapon type should have an exotic. If this happens they have to do the same for exotics to legendaries. And I do not want a legendary two tailed fox

they are not made unique by their frames so as such there should be exotics that fit into those frames
