While the detailing is incredible. Tomica Limited Vintage products are also extremely detailed as well. Also Tomica Limited Vintage cars are extremely well made and very durable as well. But as with ALL of these highly detailed cars and trucks, the smaller accessories like the side mirrors on the trucks and the other smaller items, like an antenna, they are all extremely fragile and can break easily. When they get rolled they sound like they aren't as durably made as Tomica Limited Vintage is. However the amazing detailing and the exceptional accessories you get make these cars and trucks must haves for any collection.
I've never seen this line before. Very interesting die-cast cars and trucks. I love the city trucks, vans, etc. Any dump trucks, or logging trucks ESPECIALLY if they come with logs and accessories! Big plus! Police and Rescue vehicles are always enjoys and wanted! My die-cast favorites has changed a LOT over the last few years. I've always loved the Mainline Hot Wheels and Matchbox. But recent distribution or LACK OF DISTRIBUTION has caused my attention to turn elsewhere. I always loved Auto🌎World🌏, Greenlight, Johnny⚡Lightning⚡, M2, Premium Mattel lines, Majorette , Maisto(yes, even Maisto), and the BIGGIE, Tomica Limited Vintage! I've gone from a racing vibe, or a 🏁racing🏁 or "FAST" casting, to a stock/factory look. That changed to the detailed look that Tomica, Auto World, and Johnny Lightning brought. Next came the combination of the stock/factory appearance castings, suspension, taillights, interiors, rubber wheels, realistic rims, and "vinyl" roofs and trim details. Cars have become mini works of art. I applaud Japan's incredible lines of die-cast. Especially Tomica Limited Vintage, Tomy, and now this. The amount of work and levels of detail is incredibly beautiful and so perfect! Tomica Limited Vintage does cost more. In some cases a LOT MORE, but if you want a extremely highly detailed 1/64th scale die-cast car? Tomica is #1. Round 2 is in 2nd, with Auto World, Johnny Lightning, and then Greenlight. This is the time to be a die-cast car collector IF you can find them that is.
This is 2 years after this comment, and right now in the USA, die-cast cars are next to impossible to find!😳 I've been to multiple locations, stores, etc and every place the shelves are empty. Nothing! I'm not referring to the Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunts alone, I mean ANY Hot Wheels cars are extremely difficult to locate. Matchbox is worse. Ever since the Covid-19 pandemic the die-cast hobby has been wiped out. If a case does come in, SCALPERS snap them up before they hit the floor. People here now buy EVERY SINGLE Die-Cast car they find and then they flood eBay with them for $5.00 to $500.00 each. It's insane the amount of greed that has become so commonplace now. Sickening really.
