It‘s not easy to deal with the lows but Olor and Tingboy handled that so well. And the lows make the highs much more precious. PS: you did a great job hiding the special cubes. I had to watch the video twice to find all of them.

I love going to cubing competitions just to see people become happy when they get a good solve. Whenever I see being going through rough times because they got a bad solve, I try my best to cheer them up and sometimes it doesn't work but I still try.

At first I didn't wanted to go in competitions because I felt like my times were bad but TingBoy made me understand that we don't care about my times but we just want to have good moments.
Anyway, thanks, now I'm trying to go to one.
that was more emotional than i expected lol, this really shows how cubing is lots of ups but plenty of downs, and also shows the relatinship between close ones are important, my favourite tingman vid to date.

Hi guys , I just wanted to say that I have been in my first ever comp recently and didn’t get anything special -(it didn’t have cutoffs) but to Tingboy and Olor - NEVER GIVE UP! for you maybe that was a bad time but for everyone else /including me / it’s PHENOMENAL! never give up guys (I’m 10 years old and am in cubing too. This comp was easily the best comp I have been to so far and it was an absolute honour and pleasure to meet you Ming, Olor and Tingboy! And I think it is so incredible of how resilient olor and tingboy where when they didn’t get the best times. (I don’t think I’ll ever get a 1:45 on mega 😂) I really hope you guys enjoyed your stay here in Perth! And I can’t wait to see you guys again at oceanics! (And I reckon by then olor will be able to make the mega cuttoff with ease!

If there is anything this comp has taught me its that persistence is key :D
After DNFing my average in clock finals and out of national record i came back next comp a couple weeks later to break it by a good margin
sure it sucks missing my chance being national champion, but the more you think about the what ifs of previous failures, you cant really focus on what you can do to come back from them
Yeah it was so heartbreaking for you at that comp but these setbacks just make the comebacks sweeter!

I had a simmaler expiriance, i dnf-ed out of a 3rd place on Croatian nationals for clock and those 2 dnfs were my last 2 solves:(
But I keep grinding and will see how the next nationals will go

yeah its alright olor, i experience so many highs and so many more lows. like its crazy, i used to average 12-14 seconds. and i took a long break. and now i average 21. after relearning cfop in just 3 days ( kinda proud of that. cause i only remembered 10 algs ) its just not working for me. and i dont really get a sub 20 that often. so hopefully in the future you will get some amazing luck!
