I can find a lot of times where Simms is flat out wrong and biased too. Give him props for this one on Jackson, but then watch him completely disrespect Drew Brees and drool all over Rodgers and stuff.
I was watching the Dan lebatard show when chris Simms gave his draft evaluation, months ahead of the draft. He said Lamar should've been the number one guy. Mad respect to him
I'm glad he wasn't, The Browns might have ruined him. I know this is a little biased coming from a Ravens fan, but he went to the right team. Props to him from learning from a rough game in the playoffs against the Chargers. Props also to Eric DeCosta (with Ozzie still doing some advising work) to really building a team to enhance Lamar's strengths. He also was resilient in not letting the numerous losses on defense in free agency stop him from piecing together what became a top 5 unit.
That’s crazy I’m like I know I seen him say this before. That’s exactly where and I was thinking the same. To be honest though, I was telling people Lamar was going be different but I thought all the Qbs was good just knew Lamar was better.
There were only 2 QBs in the draft that should have been selected in the first round. Jackson and Rosen ... No BIG 12 QB has won a SB and no USC QB has started in a SB .... so baker and darnold is out. Josh Allen should have been drafted in the 2nd ... he has a good D. Rosen always land on bad teams. Jackson was always the #1 guy. I see Tua as the #1 guy, Burrow as #2, the guy from oregon at #3 ... Hurts 2nd round and on a good team, Steelers, Falcons, Cowboys.

Hopefully we do play. Think we (the chiefs) are gonna win this one. We are the only team that has figured out how to stop Lamar it ain't too hard either. Most of the time he plays short to Andrews on a curl route. And the problem with Lamar is he only looks for that player and will pass to him open or not. We double teamed him on every third down and Lamar tried to fit it into him everytime and that's why we dominated you guys. You also haven't changed ur play style since we played you. I saw the whole interview with Mayock. He gave Jackson the opportunity to showcase his football IQ at the time and it was impressive. Lamar was already reading defenses and knowing what to look for in certain game situations. Very sharp.
Rich Eisen always been a real one👍🏽 love that guy. Also hope mike mayock succeeds with the raiders and wins a ring. Just let Lamar and the Ravens do it a few times first😁👍🏽
Chris Simms-Former QB Jim Mora-Former Coach Mike Vick-Former QB Mike Mayock-Former Draft Analysts, Current GM. Rich Eisen-Main host of the NFL network for the Draft, Combine. Deangelo Hall-Former DB All these guys experience are based in football, not saying that most football pro experts were all correct on Lamar, but still.
hahahaha. That's a pretty interesting idea. But I followed the draft very closely and that didn't look like the case. and besides, a single team does not have the power to affect the opinion of 90% of the NFL talent evaluators. They have eyes. They can see for themselves. But an interesting point anyway
I love your videos. I love you calling out the media, but this was great giving respect as well to those who deserved it. Awesome man, keep up the good work.
I am South African. I know shit about Football...been watching it since Prime Time...but the nuances still escape me. So I rely on the eye test. Ever since McNair lost the Superbowl by one yard I have always wondered why a mobile dual threat qb never became a priority for most GM's. Deep down I knew why...I was raised in Apartheid South Africa so the answer always bubbled beneath my consciousness though i never let it evolve into a thought. But when i first saw Lamar when he took over...I searched clips of him online from Louisville...saw he won the Heisman and then i got them same Bobby 3 Sticks chills man...he could throw...and also noted his evasiveness. Most say its due to his athleticism...no...whilst athletic i saw that it was his quickness of thought that made him extra...Cam Newton RG3 were not as quick in mind as he was...if there was a metric for speed of thought...i figure he'd be at that Jedi level of Michael Schumacher and Willie Pep in terms of how quick his neurons fire. I knew he was special...he only needed a very good O-line to enhance protection and exploit his innate talents to thrive. Ray Lewis was always my hero as I am more inclined to enjoy the defensive aspects of football owing to my proclivity to rugby due to me being a citizen of an elite rugby country...so when he went to Baltimore I was happy.
Boom!!!! "Quickness of thought". That is Lamar's true genius. He out thinks his opponents. Only Skip Bayless as an analyst has picked up on this. He called Lamar a savant. Lamar's ultimate test was playing the Pats and BB. Lamar calmly countered everything BB threw at him. Lamar gutted the Pats. He toyed with the Pats. And the next day the talk show analysts said they were more impressed with the Pats than the Ravens. This shows you just how invested these talking heads are in maintaining the status quo. Lastly, last season Lamar had to pick up a new offense on the fly and took his team to the playoffs. This year he took over another brand new offense with new terminologies and new plays and set franchise records. He understands football concepts better and quicker than any qb we have ever seen.
My goodness Mr. Motea, you are clearly a very thoughtful and articulate human being and you raise an excellent point. There is an idea that I believe is a lie that has become common place in sports philosophy = The idea of "quick twitch muscles." I've played organized sports since the age of seven, and nearly my entire family played professional sports to some level (NFL, MLB, minor league baseball, etc.) including myself who played a short time in the NFL. My brothers and I were particularly fast and athletic, playing multiple sports at a very high level due mostly to our level of body coordination, reflex quickness, world class level short distance speed, and excellent muscle density. But our most powerful asset has always our reflex quickness and foot speed, WHICH EVERY SPORTS MIND WOULD ATTRIBUTE TO OUR SUPPOSED "QUICK TWITCH MUSCLES." My younger brother was officially clocked at a 4.31 second 40 yard dash at a California state wide combine, and I personally have always been a step faster than him on any field we've ever played. So my younger brother and I have always had a really good understanding of speed and athleticism, and both of us have always known that there is something very wrong with this "quick twitch muscle fiber" concept, BECAUSE WE BOTH KNOW THAT IT REQUIRES A QUICK TWITCH BRAIN TO OPERATE A QUICK TWITCH MUSCLE. You simply cannot have one without the other, AND NONE OF THE "ATHLETIC EXPERTS" ARE PRONE TO MENTION THIS SIMPLE FACT. Instead, they want to pretend like speed and athleticism have everything to do with the body and nothing to do with the brain (and I believe we all know why, although many of us would not like to admit it.) As both a professional level athlete and a highly educated intellectual I understand two very important things about speed and athletic ability: 1) A body's muscles cannot be fast without an equally fast brain, and 2) What is called "athleticism" is really just the mind's ability to coordinate your muscle movement in the most powerful, effective, and efficient manner possible. The mind controls the body, not the other way around. One day the sports industry will begin to make the inseparable connection with the athletic body and the athletic mind. Lamar Jackson is the latest and greatest example of this connection.
@@broq9194 : I've heard this quick twitch theory advanced by two analysts: Dilfer and Schlerleth. Even though Dilfer did say Lamar has a quick twitchy brain to go along with the quick twitch muscles.
@@broq9194 thank you sir...I will defer to your experience...but I do postulate that muscle tempo which is what is being alluded to by the quick twitch...is attainable by anyone...I worked out a lot...at my peak I looked like an athlete...but I was never as fast and quick as true athletes...part of intelligence is spatial recognition and analysis...coordination and a lot of muscle memory which I believe are cognitive functions. I looked like Adrian Peterson but would never be able to assess situations in nano seconds to make decisions based on what ever desired outcome a specified sport would require. There is a great deal about the mind that is involved in pro athletics...to the point where you even have to accept that just as there are linguistic musical and mathematical geniuses, there must be an athletic category which involves body control etc. It is said that Michael Schumacher the racer could hit the breaks at a frequency greater than 10 pumps a second which is unreal hence his mastery of racing in the rain.

This is by far my favorite RUclips channel to watch for the Lamar hater videos! Good job bro keep it coming!
I love these vids dude who else
👇🏽
Aloysius Music 26.. meh. Not impressing me
I love it!!
I knew he was going to be good since he broke michael vick record in college.
3 weeks without Lamar to end the season. I think I’m going crazy😂. I can’t wait for the divisional round next week! Big Truss!!
Mayok called it at the combine
A feel good video for a Lamar Jackson fan! Thanks brother.
32 drafts....and he changed the game into another level....I've watched all his games yeah its true he is a super star and a fastest QB I ever seen.
I just wanna take a moment to thank youtube for recommending me with this content. Sir you are the real mvp! 🤘🏾
Nick from First Things First has spoken positively of Lamar and speculated on why other “analysts” talked so much unwarranted trash on Lamar.
Yo, the Rich Eisen part was both funny and a relief. Everything he said that day has been spot on.
MANNNNN!!!!!!!!!!! This was truly a breath of fresh air.. I appreciate it bro
Thanks for all your excellent work! I certainly appreciate you sharing media bias. I watch Raven games muted. I don’t have the temperament to listen to their disrespect This follow up is perfect! Happy 2020!!!
Great video! It's ridiculous how many people have been saying snide things like, "yeah, he's not bad for a running back."
Just put on some of his Louisville film and you can see he's been slinging around for a while now.
He's not your "typical" QB, he's just incredibly gifted!
The fact that vick said he was 5x better then him 💯💯💯
I hope lsmar gets his revenge against KC in the playoffs if we play them

Hopefully we do play. Think we (the chiefs) are gonna win this one. We are the only team that has figured out how to stop Lamar it ain't too hard either. Most of the time he plays short to Andrews on a curl route. And the problem with Lamar is he only looks for that player and will pass to him open or not. We double teamed him on every third down and Lamar tried to fit it into him everytime and that's why we dominated you guys. You also haven't changed ur play style since we played you. Just an opinion but I really think we are gonna win this one.
@@johnwiggins3950 :You beat the Ravens twice (one was a 2x miracle) but no excuses. You hold the honor. But trust me, the Chiefs are not ready for this version of the Ravens.
@@williejohnson5172 both teams have gotten better our d has been the best d the last 5 weeks. Lets just agree its gonna be a great game with in my opinion the two best qbs in the league rn.
@@johnwiggins3950 Oh, absolutely. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Mahommes and the Chiefs. We have been blessed to have the opportunity of watching perhaps THE two greatest qbs to have ever played the game. Brady still holds that distinction IMO but Mahommes and Lamar have the potential to surpass Brady. Let's just sit back and enjoy the ride.
Chris Simms is the goat on TV/podcast right now
GREAT Video. Thanks. DeAngelo WHOA!!! I had no opinion b/c in Oz/EricD I do Trust. Every play was like opening a Christmas present. I knew nothing of the talent or character of LJ and he does nothing but impress me every time I see him play or talk. Quality.
Really glad he is on MY team - Go Ravens!!!
Another great video bro u doing some amazing work keep it up can’t wait for the next one 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Who would’ve thought a former quarterback would know so much about the quarterback position unlike these analysts
Bro, you’re such a breath of fresh air.. thanks for your analysis. I call you SAS antagonist!! Keep it up. D’Angleo Hall was the first to call it, Ya heard!!!🗣
His rookie season was about what I expected, flashy plays, an unorthodox style of play that throws teams off but limited in his ability to make the big throws. But 2019 he improved and I was shocked by what he brought to the table
Have been waiting for this :)
That D Hall prediction keeps getting better.
Ay man love the vids, just subscribed
Keep up the good work
Chris Simms and Michael Vick gives the old cliche " IT TAKES ONE TO KNOW ONE " a very powerful and true statement.
You got something good going on here bro. As your subscribers grow and you get more time start exposing all these analyst on all kinds of sports. You been killing it bro. Glad I'm here early
If Lamar was white they would call him Jesus too.
B More shut the fuck up
that's what people are doing for luka in basketball. but him and the mavs system will get exposed so they're a different story in the end.
Nah, he ain't Jesus, Lamar a good dude but he's not righteous or overtly good willed/Christian. Russell Wilson is football's Jesus.
@B More colored man??? You mean person of color.
If Lamar Jackson was white he'd still be a playoff bust 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I saw Rich Eisen in the thumbnail and I knew I would love this vid.
When you said epilogue, I thought you were doing some “artsy” thing to be cool. Like a lot of shows are out of time sequence. But it’s ok.
ok nigga and?
Dani Gxrner and....yous a bitch
@@danielgarner3727 Calm the hell down!
Rich has always been a cool Ginuwine guy overall and Chris Simms and his dad where solid QB’s when the played in the NFL!
Best Video on RUclips, Im proud of your insight and praise for those who know what the fajita they are talking about. Good job, bro!👏🏾💯
Dude was Honest and right Lamar Jackson is the next Legend watch
Haha I really do appreciate you making these videos. I love em all. Thank you. Super funny and educated all at the same time. 👏🏾👏🏾
Team keep it clean what's up
Man I love the hell out of this video bro...
Simply AMAZING...
Lamar Jackson super bowl MVP, I said it first...
May be but not this season
Thank you soooo much for putting this video out there. Showing the guys that saw his true talent while others do the opposite
Be careful Lamar people are going to try to hurt you on purpose.
Like the content and you're straight to the point , no extended intros or corny shit , happy New subscriber here
“They have a playoff offense too Matt” come one Matt.
Bro you are amazing! You are "a breath of fresh air!" Lol Great video! Amazing background sound fx and music choices! I was completely and thoroughly satisfied by seeing this! I also enjoyed your roast video as well! Keep up the great work bro! I am a fan! 💯💯💯🔥🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
Loved this video from start to finish fam 🔥
Str8 from BMORE I appreciate your video definitely on point broskie thx🔥🔥🔥💯💯💯
Jim Rome also did
One of the best sports videos I've ever seen, EXCELLENT editing, I support you thoroughly!
Rex Ryan loves Lamar 😂 he's everything tebow was supposed to be lmao
No way Tebow was never supposed to be an accurate passer.
Great video and I love the last part where DeAngelo predicts that Jackson will win the MVP and the narrator talks about how much money someone could of won on a bet in Vegas, brilliant!
Jesus man indeed. This dude is a phenom, I dear say "miracle worker."
I saw the whole interview with Mayock. He gave Jackson the opportunity to showcase his football IQ at the time and it was impressive. Lamar was already reading defenses and knowing what to look for in certain game situations. Very sharp.
Mike Mayock is my favorite analyst man ✌✌🔥
Dude I subscribed to your channel just because you kept it real about Lamar Jackson !!!
Rich Eisen always been a real one👍🏽 love that guy. Also hope mike mayock succeeds with the raiders and wins a ring. Just let Lamar and the Ravens do it a few times first😁👍🏽
Chris Simms-Former QB
Jim Mora-Former Coach
Mike Vick-Former QB
Mike Mayock-Former Draft Analysts, Current GM.
Rich Eisen-Main host of the NFL network for the Draft, Combine.
Deangelo Hall-Former DB
All these guys experience are based in football, not saying that most football pro experts were all correct on Lamar, but still.
Have you ever realized alot of the negative rumors were started by the ravens so they could draft him. That's competition class level 101
Thabang Motea Great analysis the mind makes the body.
Well done and much needed. Had not seen that Eisen piece and a little shook at his prescient, non-conformist perspective on a great player at the QB position, with facts, instead of just going with the okey doke! Good on all the allies.👍🏽🙏🏽✊🏽
who is the clown on Rich Eisen's show?
I wish they had panned over to show his face but now everybody is saying that wasn't me I was out sick that day. Yeah ok

@@dperfect28 sooooo mike mayock wasnt an analyst before taking over as raiders GM?? Right gtfoh
@@HeCreative he was always a football guy learning under Bill Belichick but Eisen was only a SportsCenter anchor with Stuart Scott
@@dperfect28 you literally have zero idea what he knows as far as football concepts he seems pretty adept to me with vast football knowledge but besides the point .. Nothing bill showed mike prepared him to be a GM hes not coaching his scouting of players and being an analysts having to study the ins and outs of a player not only on the field but off it if anything is what prepared him to be a GM more than anything.. There are countless guys i can name who are GMs who have never even played football let alone analyzed it and dissected it on a daily bases

CreekGeek 14 agree
If they wasn’t a fan when we lost to pats in 2010 or 11 they ain’t a real fan

I’ve been a fan since they beat the Patriots in Foxborough in 2009, wild card round. I was 3
And now when you say you’re a ravens fan, people automatically assume that you are a Jackson Bandwagon!
dude, excellent video.
at the end of the season, you should make a video of the "winners and losers" of media people and their takes.
