@mikeycbd ah cool! I've been been in the United A320's about two times when I go Denver to California for thanksgiving...Very Spacious indeed, compared to the 737NGs. Great Upload, can't wait!
WOOOOOW well done mate your videos are sooo HD that they give me the feeling that I'm actually there.. (:: really enjoyable. thanks. will subscribe! :)
I do love it when they chuck on the radio. I remember flying virgin blue (back in the good ol days) on VH-VBY ya know the blue one from brisbane to adelaide, when we entered the pattern they played triple M radio
Great video mate! Pilot entered the runway rather fast. :P Must have been a immediate take-off clearance. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more. :D Cheers -EK433B77W!
nice takeoff and climb out! also nice vapor effect on the wings at 5:07 . you should take pictures out the window also and upload them to airliners{d.o.t.}net !
@EK433B77W yes with all the work going on in Melbourne they are pushed to get aircraft out on time and they ATC I know are very good at rolling take offs etc. Thanks for the feedback.
It all depends on ATC and whether the pilots are ready for takeoff before entering the runway. In your case the pilots were definitely ready and ATC had cleared them for takeoff before entering the runway. Looking at how runway 27/9 was closed for construction and the single runway was only in use, ATC could have also told the pilots to expedite the takeoff due to another aircraft on approach.
does that happen to most budget airlines? because I only took before an budget airline once and well, before they even reach the runway, the throttle was already like on 30-40%. On the contrary, the usual airlines usually take a few minutes on the runway before they takeoff.
@mikeycbd That's cool! I like them because, well, I mean they're not the best at everything but should be known as a great all-around type of airline. United needs to be able to expand more out of Denver since it is one of their main hubs. Not only that but the Denver International Airport too....I mean, if Las Vegas can do it, why can't DEN?
yeah it actually depends on the situation, if there was no flight ahead of them than they just roll on through but if there is than they give the wake turbulence from the other flight a chance to settle down before takeoff
interesting to see the big "do not land" X signs on runway 09/27 I hope it stays like that for a while. its easier to see the planes that way. Mikey, are you going to the airshow next week?
@deccas1391 I asked the guy who told me where my seat was... very nice indeed! As most of the passengers were leaving he then came up and said Captain is waiting for you. Will put the video up after the landing.
@TheFsJunkie You're officially not allowed to use cameras (video) until the seat belt lights are off. You just don't tell anyone and you certainly don't ask. If Pilots can film on the flight deck (can cabin crew) then who is going to stop us filming the wing. If someone says.... you might crash the plane then just tell them at least we will have video evidence to leave behind. LOL
@legomovies64 not my preference but hey, $188 or $300 then I chose $188 and I got to go in the cockpit so i'm more than happy. Pleasant service, on time, not like my return trip with Virgin.
@TheFsJunkie Tips: hold your hand right up against the window really firmly even if it hurts 'cause it's only gonna be for a few seconds. use KFC Wipes to clean the window first as HD picks p everything. (my friends give me the KFC as i don't eat that stuff) and I preferred the A321 over the 737-800. Thanks for the positive feedback.
JETSTAR TWICE QUOTED US $550 FOR FLIGHT TRANSFERS OVER THE PHONE - WHERAS IT COST US $230 OVER THE INTERNET. THEY DID NOT ADVISE US OF THIS PRICE DIFFERENCE. WHAT A SCAM. HOPE THIS HELPS SOMEONE.
I have travelled maybe 30 different airlines large and small. The worst by far is CRAPSTAR. I am not sure if there management in in India or the Phillipines with their call centres but I have sent my family on the 4 times and 3 of those times the whole exersize has wound up to be a clusterf*#@. Last night Brisbane to Newcastle a hour and a half late, no excuses, no apologies. 9 months ago the family sat on the tarmac for 1 hour and 40 minutes, no announcements no apology. They are CRAP.
Matey anyone who travels CRAPSTAR desrve what they get, piss poor service and a toss up as to how many hours delay after 5PM because there is no managers available after 5PM. Certainly its the worst airline I have ever traveled on.
Very entertaining, even if I'm watching this three days short of ten years later!
10 years since I took the flight but same date...19th Feb '21. :-) Thanks for taking the time to comment.

fantastic video! Great quality and camera-work!

Cheers -EK433B77W!
I would have thought they got clearance to keep rolling and so they didn't have to stop. I see it sometimes at Melbourne airport when i'm filming.
nice takeoff and climb out! also nice vapor effect on the wings at 5:07 . you should take pictures out the window also and upload them to airliners{d.o.t.}net !
Wow, opening up the ponies as he is still turning onto the threshold! I bet the pilot likes to slide also?
Thanks for the comment, I never know whether the pilots get to see the videos. I've had a lot of comments over the years.
@moshrunnersXtra Thanks for the comment, they certainly are more thrilling!
@mikeycbd Runway 27-09 is being resurfaced at the moment, so the X's mean that the runway is closed.
@mikeycbd Yeah, Virgin can be quite late sometimes. I've been in a 763 cockpit and a 744 cockpit. How was the 320's cockpit??

2:33...hell yeah...listen to those engines!!!!
Glad you liked it. Thanks for the comment.
Great to see other peoples experiences
Hey mikey, just wondering, what seat do you usually use for filming (like this video for instance) in an A320?
@fsx767 cheers, I like United, flown with them quite a few times to the UK from Auckland before they stopped flying from there.
@mikeycbd That's cool! I like them because, well, I mean they're not the best at everything but should be known as a great all-around type of airline. Looked a bit turbulent before flying through the clouds! What camera do you use to shoot these videos? :)
interesting to see the big "do not land" X signs on runway 09/27 I hope it stays like that for a while. its easier to see the planes that way. Mikey, are you going to the airshow next week?
hey, what did you say to the cabin crew guy who let you in the cockpit?
@fsx767 it was excellent, never been in an Airbus one before, really spacious. you can see soon.
Great video! How many hours the flight? How many meals they served?
@AdamAviation what airshow?
What you didn't see at the start?
@deccas1391 I asked the guy who told me where my seat was... very nice indeed! As most of the passengers were leaving he then came up and said Captain is waiting for you. Will put the video up after the landing.
@Borck103 thanks for the Info, I just knew someone would know.
@foshizmaniz21 :-) I have to say the thrust on the thing just felt different to what i was expecting. it was good.
@Rocktopus :-) I do like to seek out my surroundings. Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated.
I am so nervous flying Jetstar to Darwin from Newcastle 😰

NICE!
How was the cockpit?
@mikeycbd Avalon airshow. Its next weekend at avalon airport.

i hardly go on the A320 so i book a seat over the wing, not sure of the number. 737-800 is seat 18a or f.
Thanks, I think it was 3 hours going and a bit more coming back. One meal plus a snack if it's Qantas. Otherwise you gotta pay.
sounded alot like the takeoff i had in the a320 to hobart

@indianna1234 amazing...
@DreamlinerLBSF T H A N K Y O U!! Glad you like it.
@wardyboy6 was a little bit I guess. I have a Sony HDR something with 16g flash memory 1080 HD.
@JerdooFlightX :-) Cheers, mikey actually... not like the mouse haha
@MrJohn1966elliott :-) thank you sir.

Going on this aircraft on the 17th of october to go to my Nieces christening
Cool video! I personally wouldn't take Jetstar.
i see thanks!
True!
онун ферки варки?
no its an a321. There is an a321 and a320 (more than one LMFAO) in the jetstar fleet. Why not check it out?
true!
@Virginbluepilot27 the wings give away the a321
a very bumpy runway
I think its a320
they took no time to wait for takeoff
has nothing to do with a budget airline, generally has everything to do with atc clearence
@wiiwheel64 thank you, I'm guessing it's too late you're gonna crash.
