Amazing video. One question. Sound quality wise, how would those 210s compare to the 215RT? I’m only asking because the 215RT is from 2018 and it’s almost 7 yr old technology. Does that mean the brand new 210s will sound better even though it’s less than half the price? Thanks in advance
Great question, I’m unsure if the 215’s have had recent updates, but a few things to note are the 215’s are True 3 way speakers the 210’s are 2 way, the 215’s have a much deeper frequency extension as well.
Dumb question incoming: even though the RM series are older, they sound better? I’m looking for the “phenomenal” version and like the monitor setup with the symmetrical look. I’ve always thought that newest is best but thank you for your advice because I think the older coaxials may be the way to go!
I'm close to placing an order. I was eyeing the 3-way versions. Ive never had a 3-way speaker and figured its the best option. Wondering now if its better to save the 3K and go with these,
The 3 way are a “better” option especially for critical 2 channel listening.. in my opinion. But these are giving an absolute stellar performance at everything I’m throwing at them . They are great
Great video Scott! I have a JTR Noesis 228HT center speaker and might be interested in purchasing two of your 228HT that you replaced with the new 210HT speakers if you are thinking about selling them. I am "Muzikal-JRNE" on AVS Forum, and have been a member there since 2009.
I heard you mention you’ve hooked up your JTR’s to a crown pro audio power amp, I hear so many ppl say use quality home theater power amps, what’s your opinion on using crown amps to power JTR’s?
The crown XLS have input sensitivity selectors to be used with home or pro gear , the signal to noise on the 1502 or higher is pretty decent. I believe they provide good clean power , I used one for awhile with great results
@@Scott-Kat wow awesome I’ll be putting my psa up for sale asap then I like to listen to 2 channel using pure audio on my rz50 and there is no bass at all with the 212 at least for me it’s very anemic no depth very shallow non existent .
Yes , for two reasons .. one so people actually know what they are getting themselves into and one to protect ourselves in case someone wants to say we didn’t warn them properly
I was typing the questions of if they were two or three way and or ported....thanks for the info....and the humor😊😊😊😊😅.
Thanks for check long it out! The JTR 210HT’s are a 2 way sealed design 👍
Congrats on the new speakers !!
Thank you !
Congratulations brother, beautiful speakers 👏

Haven’t watched the entire vid yet. But did you cross them at 90 like the 212HTRs?
Yes I crossed them at 90 hertz, that measured best in my room

@@Scott-Kat Thank you for answering man!
Hahaha. You have some new BFFs 😂
Yes 😂
Is it true people who visit have to sign a waiver?
