I should have made this comment months ago but whatever This song is an absolute blast. Rarely do I have FUN while listening to a song. I sure have headbangers, but this is something else. It always feels very intense, but still manages to be optimistic. It is actually kind of the opposite of epilogue in a sense, as while in both songs bf is fighting for his life, in epilogue he seems desperate and barely holds on, while here he sounds very determinated and eager to keep going. As for the various parts -unlike most marathons, the first part (in this case bambi) doesn't feel so much like a slow warm-up, and it instead launches you directly into the action. -upheaval definitively got some badass dialogue and I would have never thought that the mention of a cone could be cool in any capacity. The fact that he seems to be going crazy toward the end and his reaction to halo's entrance is also a really good touch-up, making him very expressive. -halo actually got a good model here and sets a little bit of context and atmosphere with denouement's troop desperately trying to contain bf (also I love his vocals here) -hollie's part took me sometime to truly appreciate but it gives off actual vibes of devine punisher. It sounds and feel a lot darker than the rest of the song, and it gives her some feeling of strenght I wouldn't have expected -I don't listen much to thebi's part because hypertone hurts my ears and I don't want to lose more of my audition, but I would make similar remarks as the ones with hollie. It also makes sense since they are the two biggest opponent (excluding denouement) and they are both flying, which put them at a similar power level. He also seem VERY determined to take bf down, as he goes crazy during the highest tone parts. The atmosphere is also very different to accomodate for the brutallity of hypertone and I can only respect that -incomprehensible is actually my least favorite part. Not because it is bad, but because it does not match the intensity of the other parts. It's a great way to make a break thought, as it contrasts with the madness of thebi's part and a little bit of a recovery phase before the wrecking ball that is conbi's part -conbi's introduction where everyone sings bambi's first melody is greatly done and gives the signal that this is the end. I know it was already like that in the original but it is worth mentioning. Also, we can hear upheaval spamming. It is very jittery and we can truly feel just how determinated he is to end this. -conbi's part is an ABSOLUTE BLAST and I mean it. Thebi comes back and he is MAD, almost overpowering conbi's spam. Finally, the final spam, where everybody sings at once, 15 seconds of pure madness where everyone voice clash against each other. I can see why you turned the volume down for this part as it would have been too brutal otherwise. Then, a final cord from everyone, but it is on a specific note that makes it sound a lot like bf. He won, and everyone stop singing -but wait, conbi is still not done. Using his last bit of energy, he tries to hold on, but he is so strained that his very existence becomes unstable. Bf truly sounds like he won. Conbi refuses to hear it and still tries to outpower him, but atlast, he doesn't even have the energy to spam anymore. The instrumental is reduced to the main melody and a piano, and the tension dies down. Bf had the last word, he truly won. -finally comes some lore with showmaster watching the last star explode, ending the show with this absolute hell of a finale You took a song which had potential, and made it into something masterful. There is no perfect song, but this one stands out from everything else with its non-stop intensity. Once it starts, it never looks back until the end, and I love it for that. Also a note on the voice acting, but it is absolutely seamless. Nobody expected upheaval and halo of all thing to be voice acted, but it delivered so much, and gave personnality to these characters. I could also make a little remark about them being opposite of each other : upheaval is extremely energetic and expressive, while halo almost feels like a robot. Finally, I'd say that this visualizer is VERY close to look like a chart. A quick look at SP-Valisia's take on it shows that you only need a few touch up (and the gameplay obviously) to turn it into a chart. It also shows the "battlefield" nature of this place, as bf moves around the platform to face the various opponent and it almost feel like an animated sequence. (Of course it doesn't reach the level of a fully animated sequence that covers the entire song but you can see my point)

This remix was really fun to make and honestly I wish I got to feel the thrill of premiering this again. This took a REALLY long time to make and it truly paid off, and seeing that people like it genuinely makes me so happy and even makes me motivated to keep going. This remix was made during the second half of my summer break, which also means that I travelled between two countries while we were working on it lmao. Also yeah, Halo Bambi is pretty much like a robot in my canon. He almost always remains expressionless and talks in a monotone voice.
