So please take care 🫣 I still remember my Aikido teacher's teacher tell me "when I tell the group to soften up, I want your ears to hear to strengthen up! You've starting from 'too bendy' where they're all starting from 'inflexible', so you can't be following the same instructions" I'll never forget that. It changed my life from there when it came to group instructions in any context of motion.
This just brought back a weird memory of when I was in high school drumline. I have double joints but I played the cymbals, a super visual part to the line. Any time we had to put our arms straight out to our sides or above our heads my instructor would always freak cuz it looked nasty. Had to relearn how to put them out into correct lines xD
