I know this is an old comment, but there's the skin pack "Anomaly HD models" and if you can get it to run "RP outfits". RP outfits breaks the gun mod "Boomsticks and sharpsticks
There's been a lot of cut content from the original Stalker games, the cats and non-gun-wielding zombies, mainly, so the mod devs have to be a bit creative sometimes ;) Good ear, though, never would've guessed that
Stalker "power level to difficulty" typically evolves as a pretty direct inverse proportion. The more stuff you get, the better gear you have, the more ammo and preparation time you have, the easier it gets (and the difference was pretty dramatic). Mods like Misery and their off-springs failed pretty badly, turning the game into a chore rather than making it hard. I'd say Anomaly got pretty close to balancing it right without ruining the "wonky" nature of STALKER that is part of the charm.
True, I remember just spending 3 days artifact hunting in Call of Pripyat before even leaving for Yanov and just ordering an exo-suit. Pretty much never died to anything but anomalies.
Only way they can 'jam' per se is if a round is a dud. That happens occasionally, especially with .22lr when I go shooting. .22s are produced extra cheap and shitty.
@@explosiver I dont know what kind of ammo you are running but modern .22lr is pretty reliable.. often times in this day and age rimfire failures are the fault of the firearm instead of the ammunition. A shotgun could indeed fail to fire from a dud but this would most likely be caused by old or wet ammo and primers instead of faulty manufacturing
I don't know if this is the case in anomaly, but in call of Pripyat, mines are treated as anomalies, if you throw a bolt onto a mine, it will make a mechanical clicking noise. Also, I think in anomaly, there ARE mines, however, they are the "stick" mines. They have big ass sticks pointing out of the ground.
You think the fuzz in the game is bad? Read the book, a guy barely touches that shit and just dies a few days later from complete simultaneous organ failure, no hint that it's happening, guy just dropped like a bag of potatoes. Though I really liked how they did it in anomaly, it's actually dangerous, in vanilla I don't remember more than maybe two occasions of hitting that shit. Also, having played a lot of both Anomaly and Misery, I feel the part about cheesing, you just can't finish the game without doing it, kinda sucks but hey nobody plays this shit because it's fair, it's either unfair to you or for everyone else. Such is life in the zone.
When chat asked if you can mount a scope on the MP412 Rex... its a break action revolver; no, because the scope would get in the way of the reload. You could maybe get a sight, but seeing as there is no rail on top you'd be looking at having to tap mounting holes, which might be impossible with the amount of space provided.
In a similar mod, Road to the North, I had more problem in Cordon than Garbage. Duty clears the worst mutant spots in Garbage, but Cordon is teeming with dogs, boars, and bandits that you basically can't avoid. I spent 2 days IRL before I managed to leave Cordon for the first time because I was stuck so bad.
I have been unable to download anomaly due to "network issues" as it put it, i have tried installing on other browsers but nothing works, so yeah i would say its a nightmare to install.

@@cptpinkfish9099 thats not the mod, the mod Tomato is running is Anomaly. Completely standalone and does not require any of the base games. www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly
Well, for Shadow Of Chernobyl you can get Radiophobia or Autumn Aurora which makes the graphics beautiful and modified gunplay to be more challenging and realistic. I'd recommend it since it keeps the regular story BUT changes lots of gameplay.
If you're looking for a free-form game, where you just choose a faction and do missions, build up reputation, hoard gear and fool around, there's Call of Chernobyl (blends all areas from all three games together, with all factions and a bunch of addons. Then there's this one, Anomaly, which is the same idea as the mod mentioned above, but loosely based on the MISERY mod. Everything will kill you, there's a bunch of hardcore mechanics like manual weapon repair, radiated artifacts, bunch of weapons and ammo in different conditions, a quest line and dynamic quests. MISERY is a huge overhaul for the base game. You've got the vanilla story, with all side quests, but hundreds of new guns, new enemies, new mechanics to make the game more challenging and just an overall huge difficulty spike. My personal favourite, especially with The Armed Zone, which adds more guns than you can shake a stick at. They can all be found at moddb.com
This is the best depiction of Anomaly there is, packed into 4 hours Although, If you're looking to try Stalker, it is best to play the vanilla ones, like Shadow of Chernobyl, since it will let you appreciate the changes it had from game to game and then from game to mod (And it's altogether a great game, and much less punishing than anomaly)

3 seconds later “I think that’s the guy I need to capture”
**instantly brains him**
Well, I guess you are true to your word, but I can definitely see why you’ve never completed a capture.
When I started playing misery was the cutting edge of stalker mods.
Will you be uploading more S.T.A.L.K.E.R streams?
God I hope so
How did he make it look so good? I tried reshade and other things but the AA and models aren't even closely looking to what his game looks like.
I know this is an old comment, but there's the skin pack "Anomaly HD models" and if you can get it to run "RP outfits".
RP outfits breaks the gun mod "Boomsticks and sharpsticks
Those zombie moans are ripped straight from Resident Evil 2, I'd recognize them anywhere.
There's been a lot of cut content from the original Stalker games, the cats and non-gun-wielding zombies, mainly, so the mod devs have to be a bit creative sometimes ;) Good ear, though, never would've guessed that
Yeah same with the lurkers, they sound alot like the nosalises from metro 2033.
@@thebroomman0351 Also the same models as the smaller nosalises from the Metro series
@@lukaz20001 Some of the devs from STALKER moved to Metro, some to Survarium and some others moved to custom stuff.
"I'm pretty good"

"Ok"
Never play stalker while watching someone else play stalker. "is that my cat or his cat?!"
Oh wow, genuinely didn’t know Tomato was in to my favourite game series
3:30 coming back to this, its insane tomato may have been underselling how much he had to spend on repairs and ammo. good god anomaly is evil
I wish he played STALKER more often, I've been waiting and checking regularly the whole year for another one of these gems.
he also played call of pripyat, if you havent seen those vods yet
This is so entertaining that I prefer to watch you play for 4 hours than playing the mod myself.
But playing it your self is the greatest thing ever
Experience The Zone and become a true Stalker
I like Stalker and all, but for life of me still trying to figure out how a break open shotgun jams, but maybe thats just me?
Only way they can 'jam' per se is if a round is a dud. That happens occasionally, especially with .22lr when I go shooting. .22s are produced extra cheap and shitty.
@@explosiver I dont know what kind of ammo you are running but modern .22lr is pretty reliable.. often times in this day and age rimfire failures are the fault of the firearm instead of the ammunition. A shotgun could indeed fail to fire from a dud but this would most likely be caused by old or wet ammo and primers instead of faulty manufacturing
@@flighttherapybullisticfpv133 Depends on the brand. Remington Thunderbolts are shit and jam constantly while my CCI rounds have never had duds.
"His name's Vlad Daddy... he told me to piss off." x'D Oh my God I'm dying
The pure terror in your voice, I feel it
"Okay but if I die here it doesn't count"
FPP/RPG is the EXTRAORDINARY combo, thatks to the system shock here. And wish you more vodka in the ZONE
My mom: *comes into my room while I’m playing STALKER*
Me: GET OUT OF HERE STALKER!
This is a comment straight from 2010
Wibble time travel
This guys laugh is going in my top 10 laughs.
When's part 2 coming
One of the greatest games series ever made ! There is none in comparison to this atmosphere . Anomaly is just the top :-)
The real S.T.A.L.K.E.R. experience is hearing breathing in the background 95% of the time
Is it just me or did anyone else instantly think of super mutants from Fallout every time he says mutant?
Wahahah that headshot from the ecologist
Oh in this Mod there are soundfiles from Metro :D
fun fact there is actual, monsters from Metro.
Some from Half Life as well

I literally played stalker for the first time this week and QUICKLY discovered the god tier shotgun
you mean spas-12 or saiga-12 with a mag?
Game starts at 0:01 c:
I helped.
Shotgun+AS VAL 4 lyfe
Also Dead City is my favorite area to start in. Limansk is a fucking nightmare and I love it
You think the fuzz in the game is bad?
"I'm not counting that"
Mercs have got to be my 2nd favorite faction, but Duty will always be my favorite
Dude tomato holy shit you KNOW this shit in and out! Fun to watch that way.
Is Anomaly the only mod you installed and what Stalker game do you need to play this ?Shadow of Chernobyl ?
It's standalone as in you just download it off moddb for free www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly
Call of Pripyat I think. Im not sure if he has the call of Chernobyl mod
@@ImNotFine44 It's completely free, all you need to do is as Callus said and just download it off moddb. ;/
A Person oh
@@callusmalus8268 thanks !
If your careful the hell tunnel is a back and forth roadblock for anything that 'was' fallowing you
When chat asked if you can mount a scope on the MP412 Rex... its a break action revolver; no, because the scope would get in the way of the reload. You could maybe get a sight, but seeing as there is no rail on top you'd be looking at having to tap mounting holes, which might be impossible with the amount of space provided.
Yurik Softie is an EXCELLENT stalker name :0
Thank you for making a archive for tomato :)

When he says he lives on the edge and was on the edge of the town and all most died
I love tomato and I adore stalker perfect
"Installing Anomaly is a nightmare"
Yeah you need to be in the geeksquad to know how to unpack 7zip files and drag some folders around.
I have been unable to download anomaly due to "network issues" as it put it, i have tried installing on other browsers but nothing works, so yeah i would say its a nightmare to install.
Wait this game is Anomaly??? Shit i think this mod was another
@Otto Litmarck just look up the torrent for it, saw it posted on reddit. Downloaded it, super easy. Runs pretty well overall
never had a problem with it, both my pc and my internet are trash yet i never had an issue downloading and installing anomaly, so idk what people complain about
@@rjgamer2206 my theory is they either download the files altogether instead of one at a time. For some reason if you download them all at the same time the files corrupt while transferring to 7zip. Other than that I guess they can't make a few folders or drag a few files around lol
*sells 4 and 2 use basic kits to vendor instead of combining them to 6*

Tamto wasting his expensive ammo instead of just knifing the mutants.
Anon Ymous Good luck trying to get through 1000hp worth of angry chimera with the most low damage weapon in the game without being turned into a very dead pancake.
@@chaplainjamesthicc305 I mean, a chimera's a whole other deal, but I think one could economize by knifing boars or pseudodogs.
The boars, at least, go down in one hit if you're using the knife that can loot 'em.
Anon Ymous Pretty sure everyone starts with the AKM bayonet, which is useless.
the ambient sounds in this are crazy spooky
1:30:15 - ah, the trap every single one of us falls for when starting a new game and getting to BS village for the first time - fake corpses.

SOLID CONTENT. This is amazing
"That's an anomaly that's normal"
Do you have a link(s) for all the mods you have installed? Never fully played thru all the stalker games, and I would love to play through them with a challenging, but still enjoyable experience. ANyone got any ideas?
www.moddb.com/mods/old-good-stalker-evolution try this stalker
@@cptpinkfish9099 thats not the mod, the mod Tomato is running is Anomaly. Completely standalone and does not require any of the base games. www.moddb.com/mods/stalker-anomaly
Hes only running one mod, which is a standalone mod named stalker Anomaly.
This is the best depiction of Anomaly there is, packed into 4 hours
Although, If you're looking to try Stalker, it is best to play the vanilla ones, like Shadow of Chernobyl, since it will let you appreciate the changes it had from game to game and then from game to mod (And it's altogether a great game, and much less punishing than anomaly)
