malaysia is my favourite place to visit with my wife. We are from pakistan and usually prefer malaysia as its more friendly and full of activities than dubai.
KL may not be as popular compared to some other overcrowded cities..but KL is so amazing with nice friendly people most speak fairly good English... KL/malaysia is definitely a multi racial country multi cultural most important i love it's diverse melting pots of delicious multi-etchnic cuisines .. most nasi kandar restaurants used paprika + good quality tumeric n tomato paste to enhance the natural colour for fried chicken so yummy...what say u two??🤤😅🎉
Bro please dont tell anyone about Malaysia. Please keep Malaysia underated so that we can enjoy our facilities. However , we are more than glad that you find Malaysia and we welcome you to Malaysia , mate :D Actually we dont want Malaysia to be over touristy like Bangkok or Bali. This will increase rent price for accomodation and other short term accomodation. For the time being Kuala Lumpur remain low in meal prices compare to Johor Bahru ( a.k.a JB) that is next to Singapore.
Kuala Lumpur looks amazing! The city has such a vibrant mix of modern attractions and rich culture. Definitely planning to visit soon with my family!.. btw I'm from Shah Alam

Welcome back to both of you. You know you've found a new place to call home when you keep coming back. It's a place where you feel most relaxed and safe. Although Kuala Lumpur is not the most happening city, but it definitely is one of the most relaxing, safe and chill modern city!😂😂😊
Glad to hear that, It would be nicer if you can post vidclips about your travels to K.L. Please get immerse with the local and the cultural food scene of malaysian people , not just K.L other tourist places are also interesting with social and cities are in good order,+. Come see it all on your own 😀
@mardooq Well it was my first time and I decided KL would be great for a first timer to Malaysia. I definitely would love to check out other parts of Malaysia for sure. Doing my research! 😊
woohh.. long time no see, wlcm come (Selamat datang) back your guyss! I don't know what happen both of your dream was last night that made you want to come back to Malaysia again..hahah🤭😂😂
Welcome back to Malaysia😊. Perhaps you guys should visit the HOME of 'Satay' which is Kajang Town, it's not far from Putrajaya, could even get there by MRT. But IF you guys plan things properly, you could cover MOST of KL City and the major Malls by MRT and LRT by using the DAY PASS which allows you unlimited rides interchangeable in th MRT and LRT from 6am to 11pm. Thus from 1 end you could get to The Curve and IKEA in Damansara, as well as all the other major places including from where you guys are at from the Bukit Bintang MRT Station, usually going of at TRX which is the center of everything, if you go off at Cochrane, you get underneath the other, 2nd IKEA at MyTown shopping center, and if you know where to change or switch, like if you ride the MRT from Bukit Bintant to Pasar Seni, then change to the LRT and ride to the Abdullah Hukum station, that connects you guys directly to Mid Valley and The Gardens shopping mall which you can walk to by an aerobridge by foot. Could also go to the National Museum ( Museum Negara ) by the MRT. Now if you take the same LRT route as Abdullah Hukum on the weekends like Sundays to Taman Jaya and visit AmCorp Mall, but be there early or maybe in the afternoon as they normally close early like 7pm, you will be able to visit the Collectors Market, which has some unique Vintage and Collectors items, from toys, comics, vinyl records and other collectibles.
@bevetravels I MUST warn you, the Witch in the story of Hansel and Gretel, she never died. She was only badly injured, and she decided to stop making Breads and Sweet Pastries to lure and fatten up children, she flew on her broom to South East Asia across the Melacca Straits to Malaysia. If you stay too long you will get very ROUND and the witch will come for you... Just kidding😅
@bevetravels oh, IF you decide to get off at Kajang Station which is the home of Satay, you'll see the famous Satay Haji Samuri next to the Stadium just a walking distance from the Station. The unique flavours they have are Fish, which is very soft and one of my favorites, Mutton/Lamb, Deer and sometimes even Rabbit satay
Welcome back to Malaysia 🇲🇾 Beve 🖐 Hope u can be here next month March, month of Ramadhan. Kampung Baru will become more alive especially late afternoon/evening with bazaar Ramadhan etc.
@@bevetravelsyou can join breaking up for fasting at so many mosques - Masjid Negara, Masjid Putrajaya, Masjid Wilayah and all for free, you can save so much and can avoid going to bazaar everyday cos it can get overwhelming. Have a happy Ramadan in advance guys 🎉
The orange redish color of the fried chicken with nasi kandar at Pelita near KLCC, comes from turmeric and chili powder. RM23, I think it's a bit on the expensive side, for rice, fried chicken, few veggies, iced lemon tea and a bottle of drinking water.
Do keep a folded umbrella handy. You guys were drenched wet. But then again, the rain in Malaysia comes with a strong wind sometimes, can get a bit wet even under an umbrella.
seeing u both soaking wet into klcc , running thru the rain is mental,😂.. but it's a good experience nonetheless to feel the rains in kl though.. hopefully eve get to have a taste of her favorite apam balik crispy while being in here..welcome back u love bird's..
Walcome back to Malaysia! The most fair and unity country in this world! Why? Because you can see many cultures and religion can stay together with peace!
How long u stay, Ramadhan will be come, stay more longer and u will be suprise, how we muslim celebrate Ramadhan and than Eid. Make local friend, May be they' can invite u went Eid mubarak.🎉🎉
Have fun in KL guys. And hopefiully you find a hotel near a MRT/LRT/monorel station coz that will be very convenient. Some price comparisons for tourists (and a bonus one for Malaysians): 1. ERL fare is RM55 one way/RM100 return trip fare. I would do at least once for the experience - but don’t get confused and use the tranit ones - they are the same price) 2. Grab from KLIA to KL Sentral is about RM70 (price varies of course according to peak/non-peak time). For four persons, it is definitely cheaper, and you get to be dropped off at your hotel. 4. Express Bus price KLIA to KL Sentral is around RM15 - worth considering if you are travelling alone or as a couple. Bonus tips: If you are a Malaysian and have the RM50 monthly pass (valid for all rapid buses and all trains except ERL, Komuter and KTM), you can buy the ERL transit to Putrajaya Sentral for RM9.40 (two stations away), and then change to the MRT line, which is when you use your monthly pass.
For those who don't know yet, "Nasi Kandar" mean : Nasi - Rice Kandar - a stick placed on the shoulder to support or carry things hanging from both ends of the stick ( the other word for kandar meaning is "Pikul" ) • That's how the history of Nasi Kandar began to be sold as a hawker on the side of the road.

Welcome home to Kuala Lumpur , Malaysia guys! We just celebrated the Lunar New Year 2025 of the Wood Snake Year on Wednesday / 29Jan2025 & on the Thursday / 30Jan2025 ... February traditionally would be the Hottest Month in both Malaysia & in Singapore , so wise to wear more cotton clothings , a sun hate , bring along a retractable umbrella in a plastic bag to shield from the elements & change to a smaller & lighter backpack for city explorations! The Hindu Thaipusam festival will be held at the Batu Caves on the 11th Feb 2025 ( Was held on the 25thJan2024 , as it was calculated in the Lunar Calendar ) & devotees' cars & buses have to be parked some 1km to 3kms away due to the Massive Human Traffic Jam , so best to avoid visiting Batu Caves during the Hindu Thaipusam Festival! Stay safe , healthy , stay vigilant & stay humble guys! 🙏🌷🌿🍎🍊
25:39 Life in Malaysia. We locals have to deal with this all our lives 😂😂. We never thought much about it till foreigners point out how unpredictable it is when it comes to sunshine or rain and it changes pretty drastically!!
Actually there is a good nasi kandar just where you are living. Roti canai and nasi goreng are good as well. There is also a small Saturday market there. Also I may recommend you to visit The Nest to try mala Chinese frog. Hidden gem. Walking distance. Another one is VCR cafe. Fancy place with softcrab burger in menu. Good for insta photos . And just across the street I liked Yi Pin Kopitiam. Delicious duck and chicken rice with kopi C. Have a good time in KL :)
Since you said there’s some confusion on ordering food. Basically for places where the food is out with people behind it (like in the Nasi Kandar place) you showed is to order there. And rule of thumb is you start lining up where the rice is. Usually these stations will be in order of carbs (rice), protein (chicken, lamb, seafood etc) and vegetables.
