I'm at 5:58 and my neurodivergence is tingeling. The game says that 4 extractors completely fill a belt. Yet KoS first does 2 and then 3 extractors per belt. Every cell in my body is squealing like they just heard nails go over a chock board.
Then close your virtual ears... jesus. I misssed that line. Did you not actually watch the video????? I started with 4, not 2. It looked like there was too much material on the belt, so I adjusted it. Chill dude...

@@KatherineOfSky WOW that was a big reaction to a small piece of feedback. honestly the messiness of it was bothering me too, but regardless that's really not a mature way to respond to a commenter on your video. It's not like they sent you crazy hate or anything, most creators would grow a little thicker skin and not blow up immaturely on any slight negativity. I wouldn't even CALL this negativity, I actually stopped in shock at your overreaction. Might be time to start growing up, just a thought.

I like that the soundtrack from the first game is kept.
as i understand, the game has up to three different soundtracks to merge and mix, depending on the versions. in the game's sound options you can select :
12 tracks (40 min) *new* shapez2 OST _(as part of the standard Edition),_ and/or
10 tracks (40 min) *additional new* shapez2 OST _(as part of the Supporter Edition),_ and/or
15 tracks (62 min) *old* shapez1 OST _(if you also own shapez1)_
I’m really happy that the developers made a MacOS and a SteamOS version of this game.
Hopefully I'm not the only one that when she said "Are you there? Are you there?" immediately chimed in with the Portal turret "Are you still there?" :D
If two shapes arrive at a merge at the same time, one of them has to wait for a gap.
That is not a jam or overflow, but fixes itself all the time a moment later.
And yes, 3 destroyer, 2 rotator, 3 destroyer should exactly fill the belt, as well as the 6 stackers should exactly match a belt.
But like the merge above, if there are too many at one time, they will look like a jam forever since they can't leave faster than new ones arrive.
Shapez1 had an option to somehow "clean" everything from a section of belts, but i didn't see that yet at the beginning of my shapez2 run.
edit: found it ... select a group of belts/machines and then either hotkey "I" or the icon to delete items.
Having a grid of 6x6 would be nice only when you work with machines that require 6 to fill a belt.
But how useful would that be when others need produce or deliver 4 or 5, or maybe later with different upgrades even smaller, larger or stranger ratios ?

Hype about this. I played the original shapez a few weeks ago when it was basically on sale as a loss-leader for this game and absolutely loved it.
You can pause 23:04 the game, the hotkey for doing that is P.

Caught up on the other series, going to start this one. I loved Shapes 1, but besides the price of this one, you with your - much - better - than - mine computer is having troubles, my potato won't run it... probably. It looks so good!
Did you check the system requirements? There are a lot of graphics settings, so it might be possible.

Maybe a stupid question: I am at the third milestone now and wonder what that number next to the "B" icon on the upper left corner is. 47:26 is when it shows up when you are gettin the Blueprints. I haven't seen it in my game.

I loved Shapez 1, tried the demo of Shapez 2 and I just couldn't get my head around it. For some reason it seems that 2.5D is my limit when it comes to factory games 😅
I'll give it another go now that it's fully released but I'm not holding up much hope that my poor brain will cope :P
Why not? The qol is much better. The only real functional difference is having more layers to play around on
55:52 is it not possible to change the rotation direction on the first rotator instead of having to triple it ?
There is a reverse rotator but it has to be unlocked first.

The first one is great, I've played the demo for this one. Definitely has some great improvements like long range faster transportation of shapes. I would say to give it a try at least. Wish the demo was still up though
#2 has soooooo many improvements, its just great! Highly recommended
