Rabbi Lord Sacks's talk never fails to amaze me, enlighten me and thus broaden my horizons. It is those simple yet important lessons that we should learn, and so that we can make the world a better place for all of us than it was yesterday

@@Reporterreporter770 The real jew is Maimonides, Hillel, Shamai and also Einstien. We jews started doubting our god all the way back to sinai.

The reason to take the risk is because in doing so one might find insight and depth and a view of reality that one did not appreciate before, surprisingly bringing new richness to one's life that was not expected

Everyone knows the upside of risk. People don't shy away from taking risks because they're concerned with the rewards of a positive outcome. People avoid risks because they are terrified of the pain that accompanies a negative outcome. And that's the catch 22; nothing ventured nothing gained.

Risk has its limits... only G-d is infinite. Thank you, Rabbi, once again.

What risk? There is no reason to have faith in something you question. One leads a more rewarding life by following their heart regardless if it is a belief in god or a disbelief. To have faith in something without truly believing is foolish. There is absolutely nothing wrong with doubting or disbelieving in god. And if one is not sure, then stay unsure, that is what staying true to yourself is all about.

Faroh knew he was not God. If he said he believes the God Moses, he has to lose the throne and And free those people who were slave to him. So he thought it is not going to happen any drastic changes in his kingdom. But heard the cry of thousands of mothers and children and old men and women , then act it out. In order not to free just salves, but million of people who come after them, the power of God and he is in charge. GOD gives people time and signs all the time , but when he acts then Noone can say ,we didn't, t have any warning. Look at every moment of your life. There is warning , if you tune to the God and his purpose. God help each one us especially people who are in charge of helping others . Guide us and bless us.

Its amazing that such a talented and Intelligent man has dedicated his life to a complete falsehood as the Torah/Bible whatever If there was no religon men like this would probably of cured Cancer by now if the would of taken a different path, sad really.

Well who's going to take advice from someone who cannot even spell. If you had a quarter of the intelligence foresight of this Rabbi, you would be worth listening to, considering you have not....SHUT IT. The Bible and the Torah are real and true, and we will not listen to people like you.

billybob thornton there are plenty of atheists as well as people of faith working on such things. Intelligence isn't an issue. Believers pity non believers just as much.
