Kenneth Gitonga Mbae, born around 1987 in Kangaita, Timau, Meru County, Kenya, is the Managing Director of Centum Real Estate (Centum RE), a subsidiary of Centum Investments. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from Kenyatta University and has furthered his education with an Advanced Management Development Program at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, as well as an Advanced Management Certificate in Business Management from the Kenya Institute of Management.
Mbae's professional journey at Centum began in 2010 as an intern in the real estate division. Over the years, he played a key role in strategic projects, including spearheading the establishment of Pearl Marina in Uganda and managing estate and mall operations at Two Rivers Development. In 2017, he was appointed Managing Director of Vipingo Development Ltd., where he successfully transformed the region into an economic hub.
In March 2022, Mbae was promoted to Managing Director of Centum RE, succeeding Samuel Kariuki. Under his leadership, the company continues to expand its real estate footprint across the region, focusing on sustainable growth and value creation. #cta101
