Prediction of flurries, 13 degrees with 5 degree real feel tonight!
It's Friday and our PacNW is coming out of a week of temps in teens (feels like -3 or lower due to windchill)! Due to terrain, there are numerous micro-climates in this area. We have ice (freezing rain) on top of snow, so this is going to take some time to melt away. Forecast says we'll freeze again tonight.This Arctic Blast has been very unusual for our area...LOTS of downed trees causing MANY power outages everywhere! Must admit that, despite the bad stuff, it has been beautiful...makes me want to continue creating with snowflakes. Sweet Spring project, Ginny! Love the look of your floral arrangement! Keep warm out there in Michigan!
Question of the day - watching from Winston-Salem, NC - it is 20*F feels like 15*F -- This because those people wanted Summer to end and have sweater weather! Now they ahve it I hope they freeze!! I'm dreaming of Spring it only lasts for two weeks where I am living so I plan to enjoy it! My new philosophy going forward is "Live for the moment, and do not take it for granted"
