I always love the contrast between US guest (polite, VERY heavily media trained) and UK guest (brutally honest, will even admit they committed minor crimes) that goes on in British chat shows.
When I was around 10 years old Billie was married to Chris Evans and they lived in my village. They would drink in the local pub and my folks became friendly with them, they then used to get involved with events in the village. I remember her coming with my Mum & I to a Makro to buy sweets to sell at bonfire night 🍬 when people asked for her photo she pretended I was her little brother 🥰 she is such a lovely person and I have many other fond memories of her from my childhood 🫶🏼
Even as an American, Jonathan Ross will always be a treasure to me. Such a great representative of the toy industry, its history, and is unabashed in his love for all of it WHILE AT THE SAME TIME being a super fun, confident, and caring interviewer/personality. Was lucky enough to chat with him at one point a long time ago about some toy lines I knew he knew a lot about and I was just learning, and he couldn't have been more kind and knowledgeable. Also, bonus points if anyone can find the clip from the panel show he was on where he brought an action figure (a Microman/Micronauts) to show-and-tell!
I remembered her being blonde. She rocked with the red hair though. And the black off-shoulder dress evokes Mylène Farmer vibes (Mylène is a Canadian-born French equivalent of Madonna who did a duet version of "Stolen Car" with Sting some years back).
I think she is best known for her pop career that first got her fame, because she was household name then. I haven’t really followed her acting career as a jobbing TV actor.
Based on the description of that symptom of a spider bite....brown recluse is the only north American spider that would cause discoloration and swelling to that degree....it's the only one that causes necrosis. The widow does a neurotoxin I think.
4:03 "(Marvel fans) are big on the details" well, not lately. They're annoying lately (some of them), but not because of the details. I'm talking about the toxic fans of course.
Don't know these guests, and only watched a Jonathon Ross Show for the first time a few minutes ago and was glad I did. Good laughs. When this couple first walked out and he walked down those steps ahead of her in her high heels straight to the host, never looking back, I knew immediately that she would never forgive him for not walking down first and then turning around to take her hand as she walked down. You know, like a gentleman with some upbringing. Again, don't know them, so don't know any background, so I may be way off-base. Still..
He let her leave the room first, in between the room and the stage something must have been said by her or a crewmember for him to go ahead first. In terms of him waiting for her, chivalry is frowned upon these days

Didn’t realize Paul had dual citizenship!
Billie Piper was a singer for us older people.
Paul Rudd is even better since he knows British candy is the best. And I like pastilles but the gums are my favourite

Billie Piper is best known for her roles in Dr Who and Secret Diary of a Call Girl.

@@tedostrem3907 Well, for one, they're not a couple, but he did manifest some gentlemanly behaviors before and after the stairs...
