Mesut Özil is probably the most talented player in the Arsenal squad. Have you seen what he has gone through? The 2018 World Cup for instance. It’s not his playing that is bad, it’s the racism and criticism that is putting him down. We should all support Mesut, not hate and disrespect him.

In an interview with Mesut Özil, this guy clearly explained why he quit Germany
He quoted “I will no longer be playing for Germany at international level whilst I have this feeling of racism and disrespect.”
He openly told the media that the fans were very disrespectful and racist to him.
@jameslock1 he was speaking specifically about the 2018 world cup in which Germany were knocked out in the group stage but Ozil was used as the scapegoat. Although the forwards played poorly and weren't able to convert chances he created, they were without criticism because they're German. This is similar to the criticism Pogba faces at times whilst his English teammates like Lingard get a pass, at times i wonder how much better Ozil's record would have been if we didn't have players like Welbz, Iwobi, Walcott....

Ceballos is the missing piece! Ozil played some of his best football with his magic magician, Santi Cazorla. Ozil needs the other “playmaker” in the midfield with him. I can’t put into words how excited I am to see the Ozil and Ceballos combo in the midfield, setting up Auba, Lacca, and Pepe! #COYG 🔴⚪️❤️

Exactly, it's the wages that put pressure on such a great player. The same way Pepe is under pressure because he cost £72m...It's sad. Can we not enjoy their clear and apparent qualities. Ozil is our best midfielder by a country mile and with soo many midfielders in form currently Guendouzi, Willock and Ceballos it would be a crime not to see Ozil play with them.

I love that line up but there is something wrong with it. Toreirra would need another engine in midfield to reduce the defensive burden. Wilock can give us that defensive shield along with him. Then ceballos/ozil in front of them.
I always enjoy this guy's playing style....He can do difficult things so easily....And the best thing about him is he sees things which many other star players too don't even think....Hope he will be regular to Arsenal Squad soon and will shine again....#Ya Gunners Ya.....#COYG

Why’s it always somebody else’s fault? Sure Laca and Iwobi missed a few chances, but how many chances created by those two were spoiled? Laca and Iwobi were two of our best performers last season to boot, but you insist on putting them down for the sake of another player on the same team!
Gautam Gupta You are just wrong, he didn’t get 10 more assists because he couldn’t be bothered, Ozil has always had issues with his work ethic, and Ozil can change that, not anyone else so Lacazette and Iwobi can’t be blamed.
I'm curious, how many goalscoring chances did he create for Iwobi in this video that he missed?
If you must know some of the goals that Laca scored were not because Ozil created the chances for him but due to Laca's own sheer brilliance. The passes from Ozil were just routine not defense splitting
The problem with ozil is his laziness is infectious like how he reacts when he loses the ball. He just gives up which his other teammates pick up on and it could ruin a whole setup of a team.

Ibrahim Rahman, KDB got decent players around him. Gundogan, David Silva, Bernardo Silva, Sterling, Fernandinho, Mahrez and now Rodrigo. While Özil got the snail Aka Xhaka, Elnenny, Iwobi, and God knows who else.

I honestly believe that ozil's worst season in his carrer was Because he simply don't fit inemery's plan
Emery likes to play with a 3-4-3 without the N°10 role or 4-4-2 diamant as we saw last season in some games but when he did play this formation he put Ramsey unstead of Ozil simply cuz ozil don't press and has less workrate unlike Ramsey
Something telling me that with a 4-3-3 with APL and ozil behind them will get out the best of him again, let's wait and see!
Emery will play different variations of 433. Depending on opposition its gonna be either more like a 4231 or more a 4123. Özil fits the first perfectly where you have a real 10. The second system however with two 8s is gonna be the one against stronger opponents or away from home, he is not the player for that, but he could still come in if there's need for more creativity. The only way I can see Özil and Ceballos together in a line up is with Ceballos as Left mid, otherwise there is not enough balance.
I still believe this season will be his special.. He was sharp in preseason. I hope see him soon on pitch 🔴⚪

Lets be honest with ourselves ozil is not good enough for this club. Ceballos already has the same amount of assists as ozil in two games compared to ozil's last season. He's too inconsistent and we as arsenal fans have to accept that its over for him now we must move on.

He stilll has world class moments, he can still do a job. Bergkamp came of the bench quite often in the last few seasons with us, Özil could do the same. Against a defensive block, he still is one of the best opening them up.
