Another beautiful song from guy.. This song is about a family member of his that was going through a really tough time,with mental health issues. There are quite a few of guys songs that are very personal,and about loved ones. “Choir”,for example,was a song he wrote about a friend who committed suicide. That particular one,won song of the year,when it came out here,in Australia. Really hope you keep listening to more of his songs,there’s so many beautiful ones.
Such a talented songwriter to write such powerful song with relatable lyrics. I think this song can mean a whole bunch of things to each of us... For me it makes me think of my Grandfather whom we tragically lost in a freak fire at home & so the passion in this song, brings me to tears... He was preparing the outdoor BBQ for our Sunday Lunch visit that we always looked forward too so much. He was so excited about the family coming over for a feast, that he got an 'early start' to his Sunday, & went & lit & stoked the BBQ in the morning. A Log unexpectedly rolled out of the stove & onto his Flannelette Pajama's & Nylon Slippers. Needless to say more..., my Grandpa was found in the tool Shed later by us, the arriving family. Where he'd obviously made a dash from the BBQ to try find something to douse the flames but was overcome. I often think in times i find myself going thru a hardship of some kind.., I could really use a chat with Grandpa right now.., & there's times where I swear he is standing with me, giving me the strength & endeavour to fight on & get through todays battle...
He is so good live, love this song and performance. One of judges there on the voice with the blonde hair is Delta Goodrem, she is phenomenal to. You should check her out. Thanks heaps for the great reaction

The camera work here stinks. Continually cutting away from Guy during the most emotional parts of the song, just when he is conveying the emotions visually the hardest. So disrespectful.
@@MrsRealistic The reason you see some of the coaches on view screens instead of sitting in their chairs was because of the government and public health fear mongering over covid. Australia had some of the most draconian lock downs and restrictions outside of China.
@michaelbradley7529 oh yes, Australia lock downs were horrible! There were some pretty stupid things that American idol did too... but thankfully we weren't as bad out here in Texas. We lived pretty normal lives. Canada, where my family and two eldest daughters live was pretty bad too... and it's still trying to push a bunch of bs.
