I'll say. My mom was like that, but that was when she had so much heartburn and threw up a lot from it during pregnancy. And it turned out, that she was low on selenium.

The kidney failure was actually probably a condition called preeclampsia in pregnancy and that’s why her blood pressure was so high. It can be fatal if left untreated and the only treatment is birth. So the kidneys and heart problems were side effects of pregnancy in conjunction with the strain put on her body from the cancer medication. The heart and kidney issues should have cleared up after pregnancy.
Thay was some day! I had dr tell me i wouldnt get pregnant naturally and 5 yrs later i had a baby then another ... dr are humans n make mistakes... and she used a condom! Wow thats something

My cousin was born with fairly severe cystic fibrosis and was lucky to survive. Now she’s married and recently gave birth to a healthy baby girl. Absolute miracle.
@Sarah Mann sometimes patients get a transplant and with treatment some of the genetic varieties are not as severe as others. Also recently a new drug came out that has been very helpful for a lot of patients!
@Sarah Mann I'm not sure what the drug does but it does normalize the metabolic processes that are abnormal in CF patients. The treatment gives very rapid results but unfortunately these results are not lasting, since the underlying issue cannot be treated. But it will buy a lot of people more (healthy) years of life!
My wife had a c section when she gave birth to my daughter but my wife never in her life had cancer though but any birth to a son or daughter is the best feeling in the world

I had a boy who was 2 lbs 12 oz and was tiny. Just under 15 inches long and kind of was the size of a kid's doll. Today he's almost 7 and still small (in the lowest third as far as percentiles go) but healthy. This woman got very lucky. I'm happy her babies are okay. ❤️
I was born at 25 weeks. I weighed 1 pound, 5 and a half ounces and was 13 and a half inches long. When I was 7, like your son, I was small and in the 3rd percentile. I am 23 now.

As a sonographer it drives me crazy that they used the wrong transducer and they were showing an image of a kidney....not a fetus (or two). 'Movie magic'...ignorance is bliss lol. So glad everything worked out with her and her twins ❤❤

I went through chemotherapy and dialysis, had organ transplants and blood transfusions, and I was told that I'd never have kids. Yet I did 3 surrogacies for a family member who couldn't have kids herself, I had a stillborn for my first born, several miscarriages and my rainbow baby girl Skylyr Lunamay who was only verified because I was given x-rays and ultrasounds after having a seizure with false negatives both blood test and urine test, and I'm pregnant again doctors appointment Friday to discuss my c-section and again he was mistaken for a cyst because of false negatives both blood test and urine test. You are a miracle and your child is a miracle that was meant to be! Congratulations to you!
My niece didn't know she was pregnant either. My sister (my twin) noticed that she'd gained a lot in a short period and was sick often. She finally convinced her to see a doctor. She called me up to tell me this and....she was 6 months pregnant. I was shocked but happy and then she said "that's not all, sit down" Shes pregnant with twins. Dean and Piper were born healthy in December just before Christmas. They were the best present ever! Shes lucky though. We have twins, triplets and quads in the family
