Competitive balance, tons of overtaking, rivalries, those are what makes racing great. Because the Red Bull car is so much better than the rest, F1 has none of that. I started watching Indy Car this season. There is a lot more overtaking, and it’s way more competitive. Indycar, WEC, IMSA, GT, and this series are all better than F1. People just say F1 is better because of its prestige. But anyone who is actually objective, knows these racing leagues are superior.

Who would have thought that a Celica a d a Civic coukd produce such a thrilling race, and to do so at Bathurst, kudos to both the drivers and the teams. That was a great piece of motor racing.
I've never seen such a diverse grid and the racing in this is awesome with many of the similarly paced cars having drastically different strong suits and weaknesses. Not to mention they're running on R comps. I didn't think you could find racing like this anymore.

What are the technical rule for thoses races?? I mean as much as I like small 4cyl, it can't match à big V8, even with the weight advantage since their is a lot of long straight.. Is their an allowed engine's volume per weight for example? Or they have to race with minimum factory part in the engine??
Since it's in Australia I'm pretty sure it's a TA22 looking at the front grille and bumper set up with lights etc.. We got the RA23, RA28's also but I don't think we got the RA20 version.

The engine I think is a 170hp probably a 8500 to 9500 rpm vtec engine.. with a different ECU and a turbo fitted on it, massive amounts of weight reduced... a different fuel and double wishbone suspension at the front...
turboo??? this civic sounds natural aspirated and definitely is.. edit, just saw an onboard video and it is a K20 engine as Denis said above.. it can be anything from 240 to 270hp but most likely a 240hp one
Absolutely awesome if you put a rotary or mazda V6 in it, the stock motors would really struggle to keep up, but at least they're reliable which is about 5 tenths of winning a 12 hour event

Type-R K20A, 2.0 L, 4 celynder, cca. 220 ps, 9000rpm fuel cut, probaly higher.
well they come 220 hp stock, im assuming with just bolt on's in the range of 240 but i was hoping there was a build list somewhere =(
