Got a brand new hybrid car for my commute. A few months in, that $600 car note + over $200 a month started STRESSING ME OUT. Then I inherited a 2003 Honda CRV that is in perfect condition . I decided to sell my new car and It feels AMAZING to not have a car payment and also not give a fuck about what people think about what kind of car I drive. Nobody cares anyway.
The school system is the introduction to this system. No one will give you what you need to succeed. The same government that allows capitalism is the same one overseeing your education
I've been very fortunate to be able to buy my car's cash. By no means am I wealthy (yet..lol). Every car I have bought has been under 10,000. So now I'm on the third car I've ever owned, I was thinking the cost of insurance would be similar to my previous cars because I always just get a small sedan. Unfortunately I didn't do my research and I didn't realize that Kia Forte are frequently stolen thus making my insurance more expensive. I say all this to remind everybody to do all the research( cost of car, maintenance, insurance, gas, & symbol Etc ).
Nissans have horrible transmission so sis won’t have that car for more than another 5 years. The fact that they bout her in a commercial is wild to me! They are taking advantage of people who are not financially literate or desperate for a vehicle to go to work. This is sad. She doesn’t know what she signed up for…Lawwd. 😢
Lol I only drive cash cars. I found a 2009 Honda civic with 38k miles on it. Had the original sales card from the salesperson in it. I bought it for 14k cash out the door. Also, it helps to drive a manual transmission because they are hard to sale so the price will be low. The other cars i bought all costs 4k out the door.
Cars, homes, food, medicine. Its the ridiculous spending and the inflation that comes with it and depreciation of the money in our pockets that makes everything seem more expensive
We haven’t had a car payment since I think 2004, when something breaks or we need new tires we fix it or buy it for the cars we already own. It’s hard enough as it is now financially I can’t imagine adding a car payment plus mandatory full coverage until it’s paid off.
We had two used cars before we purchased our only car brand new. We are not crying over our monthly payment of $526 and we didn't want to pay cash in full. It is ok to purchase a new car. Everyone has different financial situations.
A flex to me is when your car is paid in full and you are humble about it ,paying over 500 even 400 dollars is paying too much they depreciate once you leave the lot
This is a prime example of why more people need to get more prepared and think about "Emergency Preparedness Management" for both your home and vehicles. Well today I learned that a car that’s towed away gets charged daily. Idk what I thought happened but I thought once it got towed to you pay a flat $400 to get it out or it goes to impound after 90 days
Uber and a free bus pass from my community college. Toss a friend gas money for grocery shopping once a month. I'm good. This is crazy for somebody who usually only goes to work, back home, and online class.
I’ve lost a job opportunity riding the bus and gained many good job opportunities driving a hybrid car. Public transportation takes too much time and Uber can get expensive. Sometimes more than having a car. I’ve worked 2 jobs while catching the bus and riding a bicycle. I barely got sleep. Driving a fuel efficient vehicle allows you to reach a job that fits better than the jobs that may be closer to you.
@@Francisco-po1cf I will agree with you about the public transportation. Well in my city anyway it SUCKS! Especially since I don't work those 'normal' hours as a lot of other folks. It works for me though because the same bus that goes in front of my house goes in front of my job. Plus I work as an LPN so my job pays pretty well and if I need extra there is ALWAYS shifts that I can pick up so its just the one job. Everybody's situation is different though so I guess what works best for you is awesomesauce.
I got rid of my 3rd BMW (a 2020 330xi… a 2018 320i before that and a 2009 328i) last January and “downgraded” to a 2004 Acura TSX- is it as pretty? Nope As fancy? Hell no.. does it get me to where I need to be same way? Um yes - it’s fine and so much easier financially!!
also: do people realize what annual exponential grwoth means once you understand the math and apply it to the material world? GDP growth is pure insanity and will likely end our civilization this century. I'm 30 now and proudly use my legs and the calories my body consumes to move my own weight. NEVER owned a car, hopefully never will.
In addition to what that woman said about collision and comprehensive coverage, also get uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage. The state i live one in four motorists are uninsured.
If u would be living in civilized society u woukd not need to own car, at least that much. Look at S. Korea, Japan , Switzerland and most Scandinavian countries where transportation is very efficient and affordable. People pass away in cars by accidents more than in airplanes . In America if u dont have your transportation and rely on public transportatiion, my oh my 😢

Honda will hold up too
There should be accounting and financing mandatory in high school. Capitalism is vicious.
They don't want an educated public😮

My High school had one and people slept through it.
That second one is crazy. She's gonna be paying that car off long after it's dead and gone.
So are those real?? I seen it but I thought they were just trolling cuz ain’t NO WAY!!!! 😮
@@eddieunlocked2201unfortunately a fool and their money are soon parted. Sad but if people are falling for it people will scam people who will buy it

Why are people believing that video of the lady paying that many months? Pretty sure it's a joke😏
I certainly hope it's a joke 😩
Yah there ain't no way that's for real. No Way. Never heard or seen that anywhere.

$14k???😮 i just found a 2009 Honda accord for $4k
Shame on those car dealerships. Taking advantage of people.
Who put a gun to their head? Loan papers show purchase price, interest rate and monthly payment. Do the math DS!
Shame on those people for not knowing any better. The dealership is capitalizing off their ignorance
Banks do not give out mortgage length loans for cars haha. 327 months would never happen.
Nothing would surprise me now. Absolutely nothing lol
Could’ve sworn I just saw something about a girl on a RUclips video with a 30 year car loan on a Honda accordss so
If it's dealership finance they can make up the rules. Banks won't be involved.

The 300+ month car videos are satire.

Joe the car plug is going to be getting paid forever...smh. You gotta do your homework folks.
Do YOUR homework bro. There is no such thing as a 425 month car loan. You are being trolled.

287k ?😂 that’s a HUGE gamble. Mans gonna be crying when it’s day 3 and it goes Caboom 😂😂😂😂
One good thing about having a car is if worse came to worse you could always live in it...beats a tent!
Some of these places have caught on to the split pay and now consider the second payment late.

EVs are NOT good for the environment! and also not good for you. get an old, shitty car, and use it up. better than EV
