I would say the biggest mistake was not drafting Jalen Hurts instead of Chase Claypool in 2020. After Big Ben went out with surgery on his elbow in 2019 we clearly needed a backup when working with Mason And Duck
Biggest mistakes of career? "Bell cow" running back mentality with LeVeon Bell. OC selections. Inability to develop young quartbacks, with Rudolph and Pickett beings prime examples. He probably should of been fired for the handling of Pickett/the offense alone. He also dropped the ball with even drafting Pickett in the 1st round. Pickett was his guy, until he wasn't.
There seems to be a lot of assuming going on with some Steelers fans, and media alike. One of the biggest criticisms of him is the poor hiring decisions of hiring and retaining Matt Canada, along with other assistant coaches and coordinators, and the majority of the blame seems to fall on Tomlin, when it isn't known who has the final say in personnel decisions. Obviously Tomlin has a lot of sway and influence, but he doesn't override ownership, and there isn't a single fan or media member that knows for certain that Tomlin made these decisions alone. Regardless, he's here to stay, and I have a big a** s**t eating grin on my face thinking about all of the ever pessimistic, cynical, whiny little 'fans' that are losing their s**t over Tomlin's extension....😁
Dave is much nicer to MT than I am. Steelers have bad TWO very fortunate GMs who have covered his personnel mediocrity. MT proves it's better to be lucky than good
Really appreciate you guys!

Couldn't agree more...
Are we getting a 3 year extension on Dave being in the podcast as well? Congrats on your test results!

Why does it matter if we win a playoff game or not if we dont win the Super Bowl?
Don't matter when a QB is drafted if not coached up...Brady 6th rd Purdy last rd last player did pretty good not being drafted in 1st rd
MT got his job with a 2007 super interview for Dan Rooney. He's not a terrible coach but "Coach C-Plus" isn't future HOF either...... LOL
