-LYRICS-
I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
I see skies of blue and clouds of white
The bright blessed day, the dark sacred night
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
The colors of the rainbow so pretty in the sky
Are also on the faces of people going by
I see friends shaking hands saying how do you do
They're really saying I love you
I hear babies crying, I watch them grow
They'll learn much more than I'll never know
And I think to myself what a wonderful world
Yes I think to myself what a wonderful world
I am on this one now, I took a break from Alfred to play a Halloween repertoire (I got down Addams Family and an easy version of In The Hall of The Mountain King). But now I'm back to Alfred, finished Lullaby and C major scale, about to do Joy to the world and working on this one. I picked up half the song in like 30 minutes, really feel like I'm starting to understand music better. I've commented a lot on your videos, but thank you. You play wonderfully and they have been so helpful to me. You've really helped me develop a love of the piano.
Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and comment! So glad that you have found the videos helpful and especially that your love for the piano has developed and grown! It is an amazing instrument with so many possibilities. I'm so very grateful too for all the joy, richness, and depth that it has added to my life!
That's great that you're supplementing the Alfred's book with some other songs of interest, "Addams Family", "In the Hall of the Mountain King", etc. Keep it up!! --Norma
