Just to clarify, the build in this video is meant to make BOTH firing modes useable. Also no riven since I feel like if a gun NEEDS a riven it's not really that good (obviously the stahlta doesn't but I just wanted to put that out there). Just in case people were skeptical of my decisions for the build!
The weapon is strong but in order to be ultra powerful it needs a lot of extra help like rivens, warframe buffs, priming, etc. This is true for almost all strong weapons but not every weapon. The true strongest weapons in the game will demolish the stahlta once you give them the same treatment. If you build around the dual toxo incarnon, strun incarnon, burston, etc, you just can't compete.
While i agree with you when you say that the weapon isnt the strongest out there, i have to point out that the weapon that will destroy stahlta must not be incarnon. While incarnon weapons are ALL strong, the incarnon in itself IS an external buff. Very few weapons will perform as well as the stahlta without external buff. But just as youtube guy pointed at, many weapons can and will be easier to build for more damages or KPM.
@@Ghost-hf6ur I don't think I would agree with that statement. By the time you have access to galvanized mods, steel path arcanes, archon shards and whatnot to buff stahlta, you have access to incarnon weapons as well. Even weapons such as original incarnons - Laetum, Phenmor generally tend to outperform stahlta and you can get them before steel path. So if you want to compare the weapon at it's 'peak', you have to consider all other options for other weapons as well. Otherwise comparison is disingenuous
Does the skin change any properties of the actual fire like damage or is it purely visual/audio? I’ve been wanting to equip it but idk my stealth’s feels weaker when it’s on
Honestly. And this is a big factor for me. The Stahlta is just so much fun. The sound design of Alt fire. The projectiles. Just all in all a very satisfying gun to use.
I like this video format a lot! The time spent was surely worth it imo. The Stahlta is basically a great weapon if you can outsource most things that you'd want on missions anyway. Armor strip, Viral priming, grouping, fire rate. This weapon benefits from all those things being outsourced a lot. You can outsource fire rate with good companions that can effectively use Reinforced Bond, it can also prime, Armor Strip and Viral to abilities or companions as well, same for grouping. Some of those are outsourceable by focus schools as well. So no wonder why there's a community of high-level players that love the weapon, it's because they/we have basically all the tools to make it work. In my opinion it's always better to build for DoT after the Jade Shadows damage rework if you want to scale in the endgame. You can always build for corrosive or viral + a dot so if you really need those elements you can still go for those builds but you'd need to sacrifice other mod slots, or go for a Riven, or outsource even more stuff. Speaking of Rivens, the Stahlta greatly benefits from one because you can save a mod slot or two if you get fire rate+damage or any other combination of generically good stats on the weapon such as multishot, crit chance, crit damage, even a DoT element like Heat or Electricity. Heat is well-known for its scaling, but I like Electricity a lot. I wish Primed Stormbringer was a thing. It's the only DoT status effect alongside Gas that starts its DoT effect at 0 seconds, probably because they're AoE DoTs. Heat, Slash and Toxin start at 1 second, which means the enemies are going to be alive for at least 1 full second after shooting them which isn't ideal on a lot of weapons, expecially projectiles and melees. Curiously enough, Gas and Electricity can go alongside each other in the same build, and they can both technically benefit from headshots but have an headshot multiplier of 1x. You can increase that with Primary Deadhead and it actually double dips on those elements.
This was an amazing video. Went into great detail about the weapon in 8 minutes. Also included options and alternatives which is something that most don't do. Usually every video you watch makes you think that some obscure weapon is the best in the game, but this guy just spoke some truth
100% agreed. We need more content creators to cover archetypes of weapons that function/perform on a similar level. Players might actually break away from conformity and develop individuality that way. Great video! I hope to see many more like it in the future.
I agree with everything you said. It can be good for new players, and decent for endgame with lots of investment. But new players can get the Aeolak in a very cheap bundle, and doesn't require too much investment. Like you said, Torid, Dual Toxocyst are leagues ahead, not to mention the Furis, Burston. But because they are not always available, tenet glaxion and tenet cycron are the next best things in my opinion
I recently ran a freisn though starting warframe. The Stahlta was very strong for the MR you get it at, even without crazy mods. I like how strong it is when you have limitless resources, but it's also very solid when it becomes available to you in game.
Little fun tip here as well if you are using Frost with his biting frost augment the crit chance on it is multiplicative on stahlta allowing you to get a very large crit chance. Using arcane avenger will be added prior to frosts multiplication allowing for crit chances above 1000%. this works on a few other weapons as well warframe wiki has a list of them on the augment.

Great video and great build!
personally, I prefer the Aeolak because its more consistent. even if it doesn't hit the same highs, you can alt fire more times, and the CO Mult is higher, and its faster
@@ZR-hz1ol really funny that only two days ago I commented that and now they are back, am I a psychic or what (I don't know if it got announced anywhere)
I don't use it much, but double checking my info it has multiplicative gun CO on both fire modes which automatically makes it better than 90% of all other options in slot so I can understand the heavy glazing you were mentioning. of course that upper 10% has things like the torrid, miter, and latron in it (which BTW also have multiplicative gun CO on at least one of their fire modes) so even if it has higher theoretical burst damage, there are definitely some other huge factors to consider lol
The fire rate, small magazine, and self-stagger are all total deal breakers for me. I've argued plenty in Moug's comment sections about his proselytizing for this weapon. It's a weapon that, on its own, just doesn't perform that great. Aeolak has harder hitting single target, Quellor has harder hitting alt-fire (in a line) and no self-stagger, Tenet Tetra is easier to build and none of those three need to be used on any specific frame to feel good. I just ran some tests against 20 lvl 215 SP Grineer (my personal mix of the beefiest with a few small fry), once with a completely unsynergistic frame, then again with a fully buffed Wisp. I was able to clear them in under *15 seconds* (under 5 after buffs) with the following weapons: Tenet Glaxion, Corinth Prime, Vermisplicer (Steadyslam/Macro Thymoid), Exergis, Felarx, Phantasma Prime, Sporothrix, Trumna, and (obviously) the inimitable Quanta Vandal. That makes every one of them (IMO) solid choices for "best primary" (that aren't incarnon). The best I could manage with Stahlta? 27 seconds. Still under 5 when buffed though, which is kind of my point. Though, naturally, nothing holds a candle to my one, my only, my beautiful Quanta. My Quanta needs nothing. It asks for nothing. It only kills. I do have a double-crit riven for it, though.
Worth nothing stahlta has a very funny interaction with frost's biting frost augment, the 200% bonus cc is actually multiplicative and will basically give you 3x whatever your modded cc is
Don't know what people see about this gun. The amount of external help it needs for it to be "the strongest primary in the game" is ridiculous. At that point you might as well invest into Trumna and you get better result than that. Not to mention I get the same experience with Kuva Tonkor, except Kuva Tonkor does fuck load of dmg without needing like 10 buffs or so.
Do new players really not make good judment calls about their accounts still at MR "10" like it should be prettt ez to figure out one would be broke as hell still and just invest in whatever is gonna make them feel good instead of being so easily swayed. Do they have no autonomy?
The arca titron would be insane, probably would beat the magistar. The tenet xoris is actually possible given that warframe wins an award at the game awards!
About the point that newer players dont have the mods that make this one of the top weapons (agree btw that it isnt the best) is kinda weak, since they also dont need the mods to make it on of the best weapons , as they arent fighting "hard" content anyways
if the torid didnt exist it probably would be the strongest at least primary weapon atm. torid just completely eclipses every other weapon no contest so
Eh, I don't think the torid is the ONLY thing stopping it from being the strongest primary. There are definitely other weapons that would compete with it, but if there was a tenet stahlta that would probably be true.
That’s what he means by “people who like using the stahlta LOVE using the stahlta” it’s like a cult and if you ask any of them they’ll say it’s the best. But aside from them it’s exactly as you say.
@@Finallin Okay, there's ONE content creator that seems to be pushing this opinion... But the title says "strongest" and the video says it "has earned the title of strongest primary". I mean...on overframe the weapon is majority voted "A" tier which hardly screams consensus best.
@@DrewBoivie Well, consider how large these videos that are pushing this opinion are though. And due to the wording in the title of these videos, newer players will be drawn to them and will be easily influenced to believe that it is the best. This video was named the way it is intentionally to bring in those viewers and offer a different viewpoint. Personally, before I got the stahlta the only thing I heard about it was that it was the best.
This is so confusing. I have this thing but I’ve never even put a potato in it and you’re saying it’s somehow better than Toxocyst/Torid? Wouldn’t the incarnon primaries just be better with the same rate of fire bonus given to the stahlta? I find it very hard to believe this thing would put perform Phenmor/Burston/Toxocyst/Torid or even Braton incarnon.
it can scale to higher levels because of multiplicative gun co, like its cousins aeolak, battacor, quellor, etc. torid and burston doesnt have multiolicative gun co so they are hard to scale to higher levels and need external buffs since they rely heavily on crit and raw damage. no offense, but you should try other weapons than incarnons, they are fun in their own way. even kitguns can scale to level cap if you know how to build correctly. one more thing, NEVER compare primary to secondaries, secondaries are way more powerful because of primed mods and the arcanes, while primary only has few arcanes that can stay consistent on higher levels
it has VERY high scaling , if ur doing general sp torid and incarnons would be better but if ur talking about lvl 9k stahlta outperforms pretty much most primaries including incarnons because stahlta can be buffed in MANY ways.
My current best weapon set is stahlta, kompressa, and xoris. Stahlta is for single target max damage against damage resistant enemies. Xoris for everything else.
Thing about stahlta is that it’s pretty strong at both trash clearing and ST. However, there are better primaries for either purpose. Since you can carry 3 weapons into most missions, hybrid guns like stahlta isn’t going to shine as much.
i also hate it when youtubers shoving PSF on evry build and then i got 1 youtber when confronted about it starting saying "GaMe Is OlD sO oBv EvERy OnE gOt IT bY nOw" like bruh
Stahlta is the greatest HOAX of 2024. Yeah, yeah, multiplicative gun CO on an off-brand cheap nerf gun. I loved stahlta on release, but the nerf hammer was quick and killed the weapon within its first weeks, then, the firestorm nerf was the final nail in the coffin. There are some weapons that really excel with buffs, they have some broken characteristics that normally wouldn't be possible to benefit like Nukor's CD, and some warframe buffs can highlight those characteristics and remove the drawbacks. Stahlta have nothing going for it besides decent dmg and multiplicative gun CO, but have a fire rate problem, reload problem, range problem, ammo economy problem and some alright stats that don't say much about the weapon. If you fix those, you end up with an OK weapon. But you can buff the hell out of an acceltra that has been a joke for years because of the same problems, and it would make a massive difference. And in another note: primary tombfinger is a Stahlta with infinite ammo and higher crits.
it's rep as the "best weapon in the game" kinda sets u up for disappointment cuz like, no the hell it is not but the weird dip into making a meta claim about it is what undersells it to begin with, it's a fun weapon and deletes acolytes in a very satisfying way, and is certainly a nice and slick weapon, what it def is not is "the best one" ocucor, dual tox, torid, miter, xoris, sicarus, nami solo, etc, all weapons better than the stahlta off the top of my head
It definitely need more investment to become as effective as many incarnon can be (evolutions are like free mods, its awesome for people who lack resources to improve modding) , but so far none of the inarnon I've tried go vmmmmmm-BWOOWWW
Stahlta amazing guns. Now me since i hate switching bane mods i just switch the guns and done. I use Torid for corpus Convectrix for grinner For the murmur dont have 1 yet any. suggestions?
Gauss + Stahlta absolutely carried me through the game when i was new. Still very fond of this weapon and will consider dusting it off after this video
Ngl i only know one yter who thinks this is the best weapon in the game. But he is the def glazing, i like the guy and everything but bruh this is straight up glazing. Ngl i dont even like it soo im also biased like he is, but this is literelly just max effort max reward gun in a game where you dont need max reward, it might matter in level cap but noone does that. While in normal steelpath you can basically do the same with any decent weapon with buffs like this
This thing is outdated af. It's not trash but it gets outperformed by 70% of the incarnon weapons we have currently. The only reason why it performed well in your video is because you only played base steelpath. Try that thing against lvl cap enemys and you will see how much setup it requires to kill them and then compare it to something like Furis/Laetum/Dual Tox which can kill lvl cap enemys on their own without any Frame buffs or priming. This thing only works when you play it on a Frame who can make literally anything kill lvl cap enemys...like Mirage.
While you are technically correct, I find it hilarious how a weapon is judged these days on viability in a situation a vast majority will never do. Level cap is basically a different game where basic defensive and offensive strategies become moot, so I think its fair to call a weapon good or even meta when they can breeze through the other 99 percent of content. Level cap is also further skewed by the mission type, and as most of those runs happen in cascade, different strategies shine there. Essentially what im saying is don't use level cap as a judgement floor on weapons, it should more serve as a ceiling, and even then its situational.
@@MapleOre Thing is base steelpath is already so ez that most weapons can handle it without having any issues. For me its just pointless. No challange so it doesen't matter what you use. So why using it as a judging point. However I agree on the gamemode choice. In Disrup lvl cap you would run a much diffrent setup compared to the weapons which shine in cascade. Slam Magistar for example is busted there but doesen't even tickle a Demo. So you got a point there.
@@ceral1871 I know it can do lvl cap. Have used it myself. I never said it can't. That doesen't make it exceptionaly good however. Simply bec it requires a lot of buffs and/or priming to make it function. Unlike other much more powerful weapons. It just gets hyped up for no reason. Like this one weird Ytuber who uses the exact same wisp setup every run with a million buffs active and then claims it to be the best weapon in the entire game...
Yep! I actually made this video in slight critique of that since this weapon is super good, but it's definitely not the best. However, I wanted to shed light on this specific weapon considering how unbelievably good its reputation is.
@ try the weapon built, you'll sing a different tune. Less aoe rarely matters when you can alt spam way more (and faster) without reloading all the time. It also hits A LOT harder
@@SebastianThebrave Not much reason to play Quellor for it's infinite body punch through secondary, when Fulmin Prime and Tenet Arca Plasmor exists (and both have multiplicative gunCO as well).
I'm curious who is even saying the stahlta is the strongest weapon in this game, not even the big fanboys of this weapon (why a weapon has fanboys ill never understand) are saying that lmao
Who TF gave this weapon "the strongest primary" title when all these incarnon weapons exist ? And even before incarnon and ammo changes, the title goes to Kuva bramma/Kuva Zarr and Kuva Chakurr Kuva and incarnon aside it goes to Bubonico No where does Stahlta comes even close to beating these beasts, plus there seem to be misinformation around this weapon, weapon CO doesnt work on AoE
Definitely true! A quick search of the stahlta will present quite a few results overhyping it, hence why I decided to make this video. Also I mention the weaponco thing in the video.
Gun CO doesn't affect the AoE explosion - true. However - the initial projectile(s) that hit directly from the alt fire - DO have gun CO affected multiplicatively (this weapon has initial projectile hit, and with delay of 1,5s the explosion triggers and causes secondary damage numbers/instance).
The stahlta is trash and needs a buff plus a riven disposition increase if you say otherwise you’re a liar that needs to shut your mouth and let the grownups talk

The arca titron would be insane, probably would beat the magistar.
The tenet xoris is actually possible given that warframe wins an award at the game awards!
@@Finallin Pablo promised the Tenet Xoris, not knowing Warframe would become a nominee at TGA.
5:24 you forgor battacor 🫥
Also a great option!

No secondary encumber on epitaph?
Im broke 😭 (im not i just dont want to buy it again lol)
I've never heard anyone say this is the best primary. I usually don't even see it listed in top 10s.
A quick search on youtube will show you what i mean 🤷♂️
Sorry for the misunderstanding, I never said it was better! Near the end of the video I clarify this just in case!
it can scale to higher levels because of multiplicative gun co, like its cousins aeolak, battacor, quellor, etc. torid and burston doesnt have multiolicative gun co so they are hard to scale to higher levels and need external buffs since they rely heavily on crit and raw damage. no offense, but you should try other weapons than incarnons, they are fun in their own way. even kitguns can scale to level cap if you know how to build correctly. one more thing, NEVER compare primary to secondaries, secondaries are way more powerful because of primed mods and the arcanes, while primary only has few arcanes that can stay consistent on higher levels
it has VERY high scaling , if ur doing general sp torid and incarnons would be better but if ur talking about lvl 9k stahlta outperforms pretty much most primaries including incarnons because stahlta can be buffed in MANY ways.
I’ll sell you a riven for it for 8 million platinum
as long as I can kill a target in less than 5 seconds, good enough for me
i also hate it when youtubers shoving PSF on evry build and then i got 1 youtber when confronted about it starting saying "GaMe Is OlD sO oBv EvERy OnE gOt IT bY nOw" like bruh
And in another note: primary tombfinger is a Stahlta with infinite ammo and higher crits.
ive been maining stahlta with harrow for a while and what can i say? its perfect
Also
Burston > Everhthing else.
Moug is creaming his pants rn
it's rep as the "best weapon in the game" kinda sets u up for disappointment cuz like, no the hell it is not
but the weird dip into making a meta claim about it is what undersells it to begin with, it's a fun weapon and deletes acolytes in a very satisfying way, and is certainly a nice and slick weapon, what it def is not is "the best one"
ocucor, dual tox, torid, miter, xoris, sicarus, nami solo, etc, all weapons better than the stahlta off the top of my head
It definitely need more investment to become as effective as many incarnon can be (evolutions are like free mods, its awesome for people who lack resources to improve modding) , but so far none of the inarnon I've tried go vmmmmmm-BWOOWWW
Yeah it's definitely powerful, it's just not quite as crazy as some of the top tier incarnon weapons.
the aeolak alt fire is aoe
Yup, that’s my bad
TERRARIA CALAMITY MENTIONED 🗣🔥
Isn't the punch trough locked at 0?
I think they shadow changed it, but I'm unsure
Stahlta amazing guns. Now me since i hate switching bane mods i just switch the guns and done. I use
Torid for corpus
Convectrix for grinner
For the murmur dont have 1 yet any. suggestions?
Tbh not really but the stahlta is actually pretty good against them since it has innate radiation on the alt fire lol
also ocucor
Any secondary modded with just heat and cascadia flare is extremely good for murmur. Furis, dual toxocyst, tenet cycron, kuva nukor
Gauss + Stahlta absolutely carried me through the game when i was new. Still very fond of this weapon and will consider dusting it off after this video
My girl, stahlinha
Calling it the best is too far, it's a fun weapon, is like a trumna with infinite secondary shot
While in normal steelpath you can basically do the same with any decent weapon with buffs like this
NO. I have a busted stahlta riven and pretty much only do solo level cap void cascade runs and i do not use this weapon. It’s not even in my top 20.
you're really quiet in this video
Was worried about that, thanks for letting me know!
@@Finallin
De pls add Tenet Stahlta Prime Incarnon
Tenet Stahlta when?

I’ll send you a video of me killing enemies with it easily at levelcap what’s ur discord :p
What doesn't get ouperformed by Incarnon... ._.
I got a riven for this gun 😂
Definitely a fun gun but in general theres a lot of people out there calling many different weapons the most powerful
Yep! I actually made this video in slight critique of that since this weapon is super good, but it's definitely not the best. However, I wanted to shed light on this specific weapon considering how unbelievably good its reputation is.
This video is full of misinformation!
The strongest weapon in the entire game is Kuva Karak!
Quellor > Stahlta. That being said both weapons are incredible. Warframe content creators need to be more careful about their clickbait titles.
Nah, Quellor is weaker option + it doesn't have AoE.
@ Fair. This is exactly the kind of feedback that I want to see.
@@SebastianThebrave stahlta had an inbuilt punch through, it was removed idk when
I'm curious who is even saying the stahlta is the strongest weapon in this game, not even the big fanboys of this weapon (why a weapon has fanboys ill never understand) are saying that lmao
*Moug wants to know your location*
Who TF gave this weapon "the strongest primary" title when all these incarnon weapons exist ?
And even before incarnon and ammo changes, the title goes to Kuva bramma/Kuva Zarr and Kuva Chakurr
Kuva and incarnon aside it goes to Bubonico
No where does Stahlta comes even close to beating these beasts, plus there seem to be misinformation around this weapon, weapon CO doesnt work on AoE
Definitely true! A quick search of the stahlta will present quite a few results overhyping it, hence why I decided to make this video. Also I mention the weaponco thing in the video.
it got secretly nerfed, punch through became none existent
Gun CO doesn't affect the AoE explosion - true. However - the initial projectile(s) that hit directly from the alt fire - DO have gun CO affected multiplicatively (this weapon has initial projectile hit, and with delay of 1,5s the explosion triggers and causes secondary damage numbers/instance).
The stahlta is trash and needs a buff plus a riven disposition increase if you say otherwise you’re a liar that needs to shut your mouth and let the grownups talk
Woah woah woah i don’t think it’s that serious 😭
