This is the Best channel on RUclips! Thank you for the tips and presentation. I have to check out the G.I. Joe customs you did since I am a huge G.I., Joe, fan and collector. Now I will be making my own inspirations. I’m actually customizing a couple of classified figures for the first time ever now because of your videos I’ll be moving onto my deluxe Legion goblin builder just picked up those metallic paints. Love your channel dude keep it up.
It depends. I spray all 3D parts with black spray paint first, and if I am using parts that are all different colors and I want them to end up the same, I base those as well. If you are just adding detailing to existing parts, you don''t need to prime.
Got it. One more Q... if I'm doing a lighter color I assume I should spray prime with a white or grey? I really appreciate this. Stoked I got to say hi to ya at the con last weekend and that show got me 1000% stoked to make some custom ML figs. Illustration artist by trade but painting figs is a little different than paper :) @@MythicCustoms

Wow! Thank you so much! I am not much of "a video guy", so my video and audio quality needs help, but I am working on it! Thanks for your kind words!
Should I put down a primer on the parts I'm painting first? Thanks!
