Hello Sheila. Take care tonight. I was up your way today, at least I was on the road you describe I think. Travelled up the A19 tunnel road from Whitburn near Sunderland to Morpeth. Had a beautiful day Christmas shopping in Morpeth. It is years since I was there but my daughter asked me if I'd like to go. I had forgotten what a lovely place it is with amazing shops. The roads were busy as roads are these days and the gritters were out when we were coming home around tea time. Hope you're lucky at bingo. I always listen to stories on my laptop when I am crocheting and knitting. It's great and very good for your imagination for a change. You create the pictures in your mind. Love Sheila. Take care driving.
Hello Sheila, I like the new music. Sorry to hear that Molly is sick. You are such a good friend knitting a sweater for Anne after she harasses you. LOL 1C that would be 33F in the US🇺🇲 Stay warm and be careful going out in the cold and snow. Yes, there are lots of free audio books or radio dramas to listen to when you knit. Take care 🇺🇲❤🇬🇧
Hello Sheila I love watching your videos and listening to your stories your knitting is beautiful hope you have luck tonight at bingo please be careful driving safe journey to and from bingo and wrap up warm take care Sheila ❤Diane
Hi Sheila…..enjoyed your story about your friends knowing about your ‘wool wall’ … snow! The ‘S’ word I hope to avoid. Too late your time , but I’d say stay home tonight. Roads freeze up more at night and may be ‘black ice’ . Please take good care, I KNOW you do. Hope you’re having luck at bingo! Your WIPS are lovely as always. ❤xx
Be careful you don't strain that arm carrying all your Bingo winnings Sheila :-) You've been super busy as always and I love the jumper you're wearing, it's so pretty. Take care and stay safe on the roads tonight.
Hi Sheila! If I’m not watching or listening to a podcast, then I’m listening to an audiobook. I get them by using my library card. If you have a library that uses an app to get books for a kindle, they also offer audio books. My favorite this year has been The Thursday Murder Club. It’s set in England and is about a bunch of pensioners who help the police solve murders. It’s absolutely hysterical!
If you download the LIBBY app you use your library card to borrow audiobooks for free from your local library to listen to on your device. You can also borrow books you read on your device 🙂
There is a storm warning for this Saturday, Sheila, snow and high winds. Worth checking the forecast. I also read Moonfleet in school, that would have been in the 70s. Many of the classics are well worth reading, or listening to, again. I find them atmospheric in the winter time. You are right. the narrator is important. Take care, ❤
Hi Sheila. I like the change of music. Nice to have a change now and then. I too have a free audiobook app on my tablet, I can do so much more, listening than I can watching. Mine is just called Free Audiobooks. Take care 🎉
I get my audio books from the library Sheila, my library is in Kent and the selection is large. I also joined Bedfordshire Library, so now I have a vast choice of books to choose from.
My Mams middle name is Eleanor, and my granddaughters named Ellie 😂 Another coincidence? My son in laws Mam is called Shiela, and she loves her bingo too AND she lives in the North East by Durham way. Audio books are a good when knitting or crochet . I have mine on all the time.
I've just discovered your channel - and thank goodness I did ❤. I'm listening to some on youtube at the moment. The radio plays are really good too. I love the jumper you're wearing, can you recall what yarn it is? Good luck at the bingo! 😊
I love Audis books and I get them from the library they are downloaded on my iPad. I love them
