one forgotten thing is that in star wars force sensitivity is extraordinarily rare. the jedi order only having about 10000 members with literal trillions is humans in the galaxy. in earth it is entirely possible there could only be about 10 force users at any one time and with each one having vastly different levels of power
A crap ton of not just the men, but the woman and children died when Darth Vader (Annie) went in a rampage in the republic
So that can contribute to the population
Depends which continuity because I’m the outer Star Wars word there’s a few million force users or force sensitive people just a lot are hidden, don’t care, or been killed
Also Stars wars Isn’t as big as you think since remember a lot of that trillion or so humans are clones
Quadrillions or quintillions*
Coruscant alone had like 3-5 trillion inhabitants if i remember correctly
Some Star Wars species like the Mirialans also have a completely different understanding of the force. It seems like they are more force sensitive than humans, but we dont really have enough information
the most common force sentive traits are enhanced reflexs and foresight. in legends there are millions of force sensitive but most are barely different from a normal person.

Ok so in both legends and canon, there actually were Force sensitive farmers. Jedi who failed to pass their Jedi trials were sorted in the Jedi Service Corps, which trained these weaker force users in trades such as agriculture, medicine, education, etc. I could see a caste of weak, Force sensitive farmers being used to terraform areas or accelerate crop production.

Regarding how common the Force is, I saw one Star Wars guide book I read in a library as a kid say that, among Humans, 68 out of 1 million people are born with innate Force Sensitivity.
And if we take how the Jedi train their aspirants as gospel, then the number of viable Force Users goes down even farther. Only 1 in 5 Younglings ever show enough promise with the Force to become Padawans. And only 1 in 3 Padawans ever become Jedi Knights. So, if we use this as an accurate measuring stick, only 1 in 15 of the 68 out of a million people with Force powers would be capable of manifesting abilities past the basic or intermediate Force powers.

Force-forged swords would be a thing for sure, as they were what Jedi and Sith first fought with.
I could easily see equality movements like the anti-benders in Legend of Korra.
Heh, anti-forcers... They'd only need some well maintained resources, training, organization, and technology to ever dwindle force wielders into smaller numbers

@@MomoALTA I’m pretty sure that there was ways to remove someone’s force sensitivity. It wasn’t pretty most of the time and usually required the force in the person performing the removal.
Another factor to consider is the balance between sedentary civilizations and nomadic peoples in this timeline. If settling down allows Force users to train and research stronger abilities and powers, nomadic invasions overrunning civilized peoples suddenly becomes the exception rather than the rule as it was in OTL. Nomads will primarily be using arrows and any Force users they have will be raw and untrained. They'll be no match for some Han, Persian or Greek equivalent Force users. This might also outmode chariots and cavalry as units of war since they'd just be bigger targets for Force powers. Infantry would be the primary thing throughout history.
Also, this might incline nomadic peoples to settle down themselves to build up surplus resources to train their own Force users, so civilization might spread around the world even faster than OTL. That could itself lead to technology advancing faster than OTL with more settlement along with competition and eventual exchanging of ideas leading to better weaponry and other technologies.

Honestly that last part is pretty likely, of you have read the legends books. Multiple species, specifically the Rakata and the Sith(Species predecessor to the dark side cult) were predominately force sensitive to the point they raided non-force-sensitive species for slaves for their empires. The sith also through selective breeding divided their species into two castes(practically two separate species) of the Sith(Elites and skilled workers) and the Massassi, who were big, strong, brutish, much less force sensitive and lesser in intelligence for the warrior muscle for their armies. My guess is of they hadnt been so slavery oriented the massassi would also have been the farmers and labours as well.
So in the legends lore that scenario is totally plausible and legit happened
Kind of like how the Mogadorians from Lorien Legacies did it
Force sensetive royal in 1890 sudenly hearing Mandalorian music outside his castel: "Somthing in my blood tells me to fear this"
possible history + Star Wars is not sometime i anticipated
As for the hereditary thing, people like Vaner Shan, son of Bastila Shan and Revan, two of the most powerful people in Star Wars was not force sensitive, and as while hereditary definitly helps, it’s somewhat of a lottery to my understanding
Also, sometimes force sensitivity may "skip" generations. Like in the example you mentioned, Vaner's children were both force sensitive, and Satele Shan became a jedi grandmaster.
It's not hereditary, the whole anakin thing hinges on him being randomly force sensitive, very. Training is a better metric
@@minestar2247 Counterpoint: Wasn't Anakin the literal son of the force itself? Also I think either Palpatine or Plagueis created him with the force or something like that. So no, it was not random. Of course, force sensitivity can still be random, though, just a bad example.
@@burgerkingguy1 yes, the force itself, like rey. The palpatine stuff where he (pseudo)raped anakin's mom is from the extended universe, not sure if it should be considered.
@@minestar2247 Well the original comment is based on EU stuff, and the video itself mentions Darth Bane and Darth Nihilus, which are both from the EU, so I think it should count.
Gengus Kahn as a Sith Lord is hilarious
I'd say the Papacy, in the development of Force powers growing out of hand, would try to restrict the use of it due to the dangers of the Force to the Pope. Moreover, based on the Commandments and God's word, more violent abilities will be one shunned in favor of more 'holy' abilities like healing.
Of course, it could take a complete U-turn that Force users become shunned as attempting to mimic God. (Probably not from what we've seen from the video.)
The pope would be a force user. The force would just be considered an extension of God, so religion would be more pan(en)theistic.

Random idea for a future video: what if, during WW2, Germany negotiated peace when they started losing territories?
What if they negotiated peace right after taking parts of France, and all of Poland, czechoslavakia, Austria, and BENELUX?
If the allies are down, they might negotiate for this and allow Hitler (a fascist dictator) to stay in power the same way the Spanish fascist dictator at the time (Francisco Franco) stayed in power til his death. Just like in Spain, this "Greater Germania" would have been repressive, but not enough for outright revolution and upon H-tler's deathbed, he may have given power back to Kaiser Wilhelm's successor, who would then establish a parliamentary monarchy along the lines of modern Spain and brought freedoms back.
The French, Czech, and other languages would be suppressed until H-tler's death, but see their resurgence upon restoration of democracy, though the official language would remain German.
And "Greater Germania" (renamed HRE or Europa) would retain its lands it had taken. It would join the EU in 1992.
In 2017, a Czech state leader would be elected and hold an illegal referendum. The chancellor of Germany would call for his arrest. That Czech leader would flee to France or Denmark, but the rest of the EU would be fine with it (just like they are with the catalan separatist leader of spain).
@@Kaede-Sasaki no like when Germany gets stuck in Stalingrad and they realise it's not going well for them. Maybe this could cause the assassination of Hitler and the rise of one of its ancient comrades.
If the Force was real, I think a lot of pranks would ensue. Doors shutting in peoples faces, kids scaring their mom with floating live spiders, and lots of other hilarious shenanigans.
Now these are the alt histories I'm most interested about.
The regular ones are good too, but sometimes, i just like to see something goofy.
As a fan, I believe it's true that the force can be that hereditary, since I don't know of any force users who didn't have force sensitive children. The problem, is that in the star wars galaxy, they were basically monk orders by the time of the movies. Especially the Sith, with the rule of 2, means you essentially can't have kids unless you want to create more Jedi for yourself to fight.
Satele shan had a child that wasnt force sensitive sadly
@@lukazzmatizz4378 And even Revan and Bastila’s son Vaner wasn’t either, but even including Theron in Satele’s case that’s just the two only documented cases of them not being Force sensitive.
Practically every other instance of one or two Force users having a child seems to produce a child that is Force sensitive. Repeatedly in Leia’s case in Legends with her having three kids who were all Force users. And Luke’s direct descendants in Legends kept being insanely strong in the Force.
Seems more likely the child of a Force user will be one too than naught.
In terms of hereditary Force abilities, pretty much all versions of the witches of Dathomir ruled their planet through a feudalistic society ruled by Force wielding women (who kept advanced knowledge from Force sensitive males to maintain their authority).
Even on a world ruled by Force uses they were still the minority, albeit far more common than normal.
I think once firearms are discovered there would probably a HUGE revolution against the force user elites. Bullets travel a lot faster than Star Wars lasers and so force users would be at a big disadvantage. Yes precognition abilities would help but as order 66 shows, vast majority of force users wouldn't be able to tell something is wrong until too late. I could see a french revolution style conflict where all force users are killed and it becomes taboo to use force abilities.
I'd have to disagree with your last sentence, because i think the force is too strong to ever overthrown by the likes of firearms
It all depends on how strong the individual force user is.
We've got Jedi that struggle with blaster fire sure.
But there have also been Sith and Jedi alike that reached speed beyond human limits, like dodging lightning itself.
Assuming very strong force users could achieve such feats, its almost impossible for regular humans to overthrow them without having their own force users.
@@UnknownFlop18 Yeah but think about how many force users would actually be at that level. Like there are trillions upon trillions of people in the star wars universe. Odds of ever getting a force user of that level on earth is low.
@clarenceorozco5300 Surprise atracks, sniping, explosives, gas and saturation fire.
But still, the force is such a great power that i don't even think anyone in that time would dare challenge their might@@Elyseon

So maybe the Jedi and Sith would notice that and would then come to earth to make contact with them and possibly to ally with them.

Even if not existing as THE actual jedi and sith, if the Force exists it should exist alongside ALL the 'built in' rules, meaning the Force isn't just a superpower, it IS a sort of 'deity' with it's own will, and thus once usage becomes widespread, parallel organizations focused on dark/light side should still inevitably come into existence
If you are interested in this topic, I recommend watching an anime called "Shin sekai yori". It's a story set in a distant future, thousands of years after they discovered telekinesis. It follows a group of people who learn about the history of humanity, how the people regressed into the dark ages due to telekinetic emperors, and how they eventually returned to normalcy. Also the fate of the "non force users" plays a significant role in the plot. I don't want to spoil it more than I already did, but I honestly recommend this anime, it is really great.
Thanks ❤

You keep talking about force sensitivity being hereditary, but from what I’ve seen, that just isn’t so. The Force is everywhere and it doesn’t play favorites. Yoda himself said “It surrounds us and binds us and holds the universe together.” And also remember, at the end of “the last Jedi” a humble stable boy is seen calling a broomstick to him with the Force.
It seems intelligence in real real life. When two very smart people have a child, this child is likely to be smart as well. It would explain why Luke and Leia were force-sensitive, or why some species were more aligned with the force; they all just had a good genetic
However, it's 100% possible for someone to be smart with dumb parents

Dear Mr. Possible History,
I don't know if you will ever even read this comment, but I was recently watching your video about perpetual peace treaties, and during the section of the Entente Cordial treaty, you mentioned that during the Russo-Japaneese war, Britain was allied to Japan, and France to Russia, and hearing that a rather unrealistic idea for an alternate history came to mind: "What if Britain and France joined there allies in the Russo-Japaneese war". Like I already mentioned, this is an unrealistic alternate history, but I still think exploring the scenario would make a great video.
I don't expect you to even see this comment, but if by chance you do, I would maybe want to hear your opinion on the scenario, if you'd have the time,
I wish you a great morning/day/afternoon/evening/night, depending on when or if you even read this,

I would argue that technological progress may actually be accelerated, although not as we know it. The force can be used for alchemy, and before lightsabers and even protosabers there were force sabers. It’s also possible that holocrons could be developed. Force alchemy can even be used for the manipulation of biology in creating things from marginal improvements to outright monsters or abominations, even zombies.
It’s also possible that force sensitive humans would be more common than presented, if the “dawn” of force sensitivity was placed further back. Homo Sapiens outcompeted (and in some cases directly extinctified) other human species. Given the superiority of force sensitives to non-sensitives, I could see force sensitivity as a desirable trait being a much more pivotal and formative aspect of human evolution. Hell, I could even see force users of prolific power during the Hunter gatherer stage or early agricultural stage having their stories mutate into outright deification as the centuries pass, another pointer for it being like Ancient Greece (as in I could easily see the Greek myths of force-sensitive earth being mythologized stories of real people).
There’s also the fact that the force can seep into places, for both good and bad. In the original trilogy, there was that one cave on dagobah. There are also probably equivalent light side areas, I could see the aforementioned enclaves of mountain monks getting suffused over the centuries and millennia of use and making the very rock simply radiate tranquility and enlightenment. On the flipside the sites of massacres of sufficient scale or cruelty could become “haunted” in a way, although perhaps areas where victims were not given the mercy of death would be more heavily tainted. Bedlam comes to mind for the latter, although it would pale in comparison to nazi concentration camps.
When I clicked on this video, I was expecting Star Wars theory. The minute I heard PH’s voice, I looked at the channel I clicked on. Ot was surprising that it was possible history.
Thank you for the video. Doesn't it exist? I strongly recommend Schwerpunkt's Traditional religion series on the topic

This is a fun as hell video man. Gotta love more out there stuff like this lmfao. Althought I do think that the force sensitive people would more be at the mercy of normal people since they'd just be so outnumbered. 1 force sensitive person stands very little chance of beating 100 people with swords and shields, and 1 person can't hope to deflect 100 arrows either.
The dichotomy of the Dark and the light in the Force is based on wether you let the force and nature flow through you without you influencing it or if you try to bend the Force to your will for your desires. When you start dipping in selfish dark side, you get flooded with the evil of the universe, and you have no choice but to fall to the dark, trapped in a Feedback loop. That is why the concept of grey force user is somewhat nonsensical, if you use the dark, it will probably swallow you up. The light side users go through a course of abnegation and almost renouncing the self and any desires. Most beings have a tendency to go to the dark but only the ones that have no empathy or love can fall to Sith level permanently. But if you want to go to the light, its harder but your connection to the force and harmony of nature is far deeper. When no user bends the Force to its will, then it is in balance.
Force pre-cognition and feeling other living beings would be so useful for hunters.

In regards to food surplus, Star Wars lore has often made mention of an agri-corp made up of Jedi "washouts" who specialize in using the Force to manipulate plant life. Similar monk sects of Force growers could easily lead to early agricultural revolution(s), perhaps even making crops way better than our own modern ones millenia ago.

Love the term "Force Lords". Sounds like Time Lords.
Not necessarily something you "forgot" per se but I feel like there would likely also be a (realistically multiple) real life equivalent(s) of Teräs Käsi, the hand-to-hand combat style developed to fight force sensitives. I feel like many of these fighting styles would have a similar background to Capoeira, non force sensitives practicing a way to fight back in secret, though it would be harder to accomplish this with Force sensitives around, it would still likely happen.
0:29 same
This is well thought out for the most part, but the Force also pushes back. I can't imagine a Force Emperor lasting long hearing and feeling everyone's suffering when he purposely attempts to sieze power. Palps was a special breed, and even in Legends he resorted to clone bodies when he tried to bend the Will of the Force to his desires

Damn good video. I think you may have also uncovered why the Star Wars galaxy is so slow to advance
Wait I'm not the only person who used to pretend to open those automatic doors with the force
One thing to acknowledge is that when people find out force sensitivity is hereditary, it would be a lot of in breeding and genetic selection in order to produce the most powerful offsprings. Another thing is to keep in mind that the people who are lowest class are likely to be the innovators. In order to keep up with their force sensitive peers, they develop technologies that help make their lives better or efficient. This would eventually likely carry on over the dynasties. The nobles seeing that technologies are starting to become a threat, places a ban or they would agree on cooperating with these innovators. Regardless, wars will be fought between the force users and terminologie technologies. Prejudice will continue claiming force users as monsters or technological users as uncultured. There will be brief peace and eventually force users will have their technology slowly advanced. In the end, you will have several factions: trained force users who want peace (light side), trained force users who want domination (dark side), refugee force users that learned and adapted to their environment (grey side), technologists who want to reach the next frontier (scientists and engineers), technologists who buy and sell their technologies (merchants), warriors trained to fight against against force users relying purely on skill and wit (similar to mandalorians)
Stalin: Its over Hitler I have the high ground.

Force sensitivity definitely is common in families, but it isn’t guaranteed to manifest on a level to justify specialist training in many cases.
I could see it go another way. A pleasant that has unnaturally force abilities could slowly gather other mistreated force users and eventually gather a powerful army that could go toe to toe
