Does it have to seat right up against the camera? You know for us normal people that use phone cases, that wouldn't allow the lens to seat up against the camera lens.

I️ ligit opened a stapler and I️ clasped the micro lens in it and started to twist it
You have to twist it to the right instead of left
Soak it in hot water and then unscrew it
