This mix was most likely recorded via line level RCA directly from the mixer in to a pc or an audio interface, and then synced with the GoPro video in editing; a mic of any kind wont be able to compete with that set up to be honest. The on board mic on the Hero 4 Silver did impress me to be fair, but you'd still be better off with an external mic for general filming and recording from the mixer in a DJ scenario. Hope this helps!

I always like to say that buying 2 cdj's and some djm DOES NOT MAKE YOU a dj! I just have one simple question for you and that is: Do you fail every single time?
I've listened to most of mark jones sets...to be fair some are not for me, but most are :-)...he's got good taste in beats and kills it everytime....I'm tech house so his other sets I've not listened to...got nuff respect for this dude....he appreciates his fans on here, and that means alot to me :-)...keep going mark...hope to see you in Yorkshire England sometime :-)...one love x
