It makes me happy to see you also fell in love with this game enough to buy the OG version. I too have wanted to buy the OG version for years. Used to play it on emulator before we ever got Chronicles here in the States.

I've had the opportunity to play this version of the game before at a convention months ago. I do know that the X68000 is compatible with a Genesis controller.

Dude that is totally amazing!! Now you gotta replay this version too. Lol j/k Seriously though, this is the best Castlevania. A lot of love and care went into designing this.

Not a big fan of TFII, honestly. Now if you said Gradius 2, on the other hand... ;)

Yeah, I'm not a fan of the way the seller packaged that either. I am a fan of the actual packaging for the game though. Really cool that it comes in a nice plastic tray, and I love the artwork on the cover.

Yeah, it's a really awesome packaging setup. I have been scoping out other X68000 games and it seems the way Akumajo Dracula was handled was not the norm. Most other games have more basic packaging, similar to Neo Geo AES games.

They aren't cheap. And they aren't reliable either. Those are prone to molding. And the disc drives are always on a rapid ticking clock. Great machines. Poor quality control. I should know lol
