Witamy w gołębniku Band Maid. Założycielka zespołu (2013), energetyczny wulkan, Miku Kobato (czerwona róża) uważa się za małego gołąbka, mającego 810 lat. I taką rolę odgrywa podczas krótkich stand upów w czasie koncertu. Dziewczyny miały być poprzebierane za kelnerki z sieci Maid Cafe, ale Saiki (wokal, niebieska róża) i MISA (bosonogi bas) wywalczyły z czasem własne, czarne stroje. Coś pomiędzy mistress z metal klubu, a frywolną córką grabarza. Muzyka to przede wszystkim hard rock, wymieszany z punkiem, funky, metalem, a nawet jazzem. Z obowiązkową w japońskim rocku, chwytliwą nutą popu, zwłaszcza w refrenach. Wszystko podane w rewelacyjnej instrumentalnie formie. Przede wszystkim na żywo. Większość z nich uczyła się muzyki i gry na różnych instrumentach od 4-5 roku życia. Co prawda wszystkie japońskie, żeńskie zespoły rockowe, jakie znam i lubię, są znakomite instrumentalnie, ale sekcja rytmiczna Band Maid (MISA plus perkusistka Akane) to duet po prostu fenomenalny, jeden z najlepszych, jakie słyszałem w rocku. W 2016, podczas festiwalu w Tokio, zaproszony na tę imprezę Jimmi Page podszedł do Akane, pogratulował jej gry i poprosił o wspólne zdjęcie (jest w sieci). Kompozytorka większości utworów, oraz specjalistka od świetnie dobranych, krótkich, ale wysmakowanych solówek, gitarzystka Kanami, jako jedyna w zespole ma dyplom wyższej uczelni. Jest magistrem ekonomii i zarządzania. Niebieska róża (Tsundere) symbolizuje chłód, wierność i pasywność, a czerwona pasję, miłość, siłę i poświęcenie. Dziewczyny nagrały wiele płyt, kolejny singiel już 2 grudnia, ale na początek polecam "Blooming", "YOLO", "Bubble", oraz utwory z koncertów - "Domination", "Play" (najlepiej wersja 2017 Shinkiba). Aha, Band Maid był raz w Polsce. W 2016 zagrały w warszawskiej "Hydrozagadce", są amatorskie nagrania.
I would add one more thing about the roses, in Japanese myth there are red and blue "oni" (ogre or demon). The red oni is extraverted and impulsive and the blue oni is rational and controlled. It is a common trope. Miku (red rose) is the band founder and rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist. She talks the most in interviews. Saiki (blue rose) the lead vocalist, says much less.
Go watch their live videos. They all play their instruments. And they write and compose all their songs. The song was used for the "Yu-Ghi-Oh VRANES" anime ending outro theme song; thus, use of the glitch effects and what not.
@@cav94 The band was founded by Miku, the rhythm guitar/2nd vocals, but everyone in the group has individual goals/dreams for their music. Akane, the drummer, has dreamed of getting their music into anime.
BAND MAID was originally a 4 piece band. MIKU has always been the founder and was doing the lead vocals at the time. Before "New Beginning" it was decided by the girls (and the record label) that a harder rock sound was needed. MIKU did not think she had a strong enough voice to carry that off herself. SAIKI had been added through auditions just before Maid in Japan was recorded. The running joke is that MIKU tricked SAIKI by telling her they would wear "cute clothes". Saiki was not amused by the maid outfits and ditched hers almost immediately and used something more stylized like you see here. MISA did the same. Akane, Kanami, and MIKU all retain traditional MAID clothes. If you want to see what they were like in the beginning go and check out "Thrill", their first music video (and pay attention to the outfits and instruments).

Niestety grzeszycie zastanawiając się czy Asami, Miku, Misa i Kanami naprawdę grają na instrumentach. Wasz grzech może zostać zmazany tylko tym, że zobaczycie ich utwory live. Co prawda wszystkie japońskie, żeńskie zespoły rockowe, jakie znam i lubię, są znakomite instrumentalnie, ale sekcja rytmiczna Band Maid (MISA plus perkusistka Akane) to duet po prostu fenomenalny, jeden z najlepszych, jakie słyszałem w rocku. W 2016, podczas festiwalu w Tokio, zaproszony na tę imprezę Jimmi Page podszedł do Akane, pogratulował jej gry i poprosił o wspólne zdjęcie (jest w sieci). Kompozytorka większości utworów, oraz specjalistka od świetnie dobranych, krótkich, ale wysmakowanych solówek, gitarzystka Kanami, jako jedyna w zespole ma dyplom wyższej uczelni. Jest magistrem ekonomii i zarządzania. Niebieska róża (Tsundere) symbolizuje chłód, wierność i pasywność, a czerwona pasję, miłość, siłę i poświęcenie. Dziewczyny nagrały wiele płyt, kolejny singiel już 2 grudnia, ale na początek polecam "Blooming", "YOLO", "Bubble", oraz utwory z koncertów - "Domination", "Play" (najlepiej wersja 2017 Shinkiba). Aha, Band Maid był raz w Polsce. W 2016 zagrały w warszawskiej "Hydrozagadce", są amatorskie nagrania.

I would add one more thing about the roses, in Japanese myth there are red and blue "oni" (ogre or demon). The red oni is extraverted and impulsive and the blue oni is rational and controlled. It is a common trope. Miku (red rose) is the band founder and rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist. She talks the most in interviews. Saiki (blue rose) the lead vocalist, says much less.

@@cav94 The band was founded by Miku, the rhythm guitar/2nd vocals, but everyone in the group has individual goals/dreams for their music. Akane, the drummer, has dreamed of getting their music into anime.
BAND MAID was originally a 4 piece band. MIKU has always been the founder and was doing the lead vocals at the time. Before "New Beginning" it was decided by the girls (and the record label) that a harder rock sound was needed. MIKU did not think she had a strong enough voice to carry that off herself. SAIKI had been added through auditions just before Maid in Japan was recorded. The running joke is that MIKU tricked SAIKI by telling her they would wear "cute clothes". Saiki was not amused by the maid outfits and ditched hers almost immediately and used something more stylized like you see here. MISA did the same. Akane, Kanami, and MIKU all retain traditional MAID clothes.

Pierwszy raz trafiam na polski reacting. Dziewczyny nie przyznawajcie się głośno, że nie znacie twórczości Band Maid tylko szybko nadrabiajcie to co powinnyście znać od dawna. Niestety grzeszycie zastanawiając się czy Asami, Miku, Misa i Kanami naprawdę grają na instrumentach. Wasz grzech może zostać zmazany tylko tym, że zobaczycie ich utwory live. Koniecznie sprawdźcie Domination , Freedom oraz Play z koncertu 14.02.2020. A na deser instrumentalny Onset, oczywiście live. Pozdrawiam i życzę miłego słuchania.

Skontaktowała się z Kanami za pośrednictwem swojej agencji. Kiedy się poznali, Kanami była tak podekscytowana pomysłem, że zadzwoniła do Akane.
Kanami (gitara) i Akane (perkusja) czasami grali jako muzycy rezerwowi w grupie idoli. Akane znała basistkę Misę z uczelni muzycznej.
Data założenia Band Maid to prawdopodobnie 26 czerwca 2013 roku.
Po pierwszych występach okazało się, że głos Miku był zbyt słaby jak na hard rock i brakowało mu drugiej gitary.
Skontaktowałeś się ze wszystkimi piosenkarzami w swojej agencji i wybrałeś Saiki.
