That tv programme at the start nicked the Anglia Television start up music lol
It didn’t belong to Anglia. It’s a piece of classical music by George Handel called “Water Music”.
Trailer for the first ever episode of Catchphrase... a shame the TVS version has ended up in oblivion when it comes to repeats.
Wonder who that poor family was, killed in Devon 😔
Not sure I've seen this style of continuity before. At a guess they're in the period between dropping IVC and adopting the new look later in the year, but somebody better versed in LWT will doubtless tell us more.
LWT dropped IVC in Feb 1983. This version was not uncommon, mainly a sports presenter doing a live feed for the football results programme.
Lenny H wasn't funny then either
