Lee: Nothing makes a damaged foot feel better than hooking a big fish. Always fun to see you and Robbie chasing Muskie. Thanks for taking us along. Both of you stay safe. God Bless!
Caught one yesterday in the south channel right in front of seaway island across from gull island. 40 ft of water on a diving 2 1/2 inch frenzie crankbait. Thought it was a big channel catfish based on how it was fighting (or lack there of). Very unexpected. It was awesome.
oh my goodness, can you please send some rain to the west coast! Love the vids brothers. Reminds me of my roots growing up fishing. You may be the catalyst that pulls me back to WI
the loon mini boilermaker got twenty follows and two dropped giants. i dropped a 55 inch muskie right next to the net a few days ago on the mini boilermaker. if anything it just fired me up more to fight harder to net a fish bigger than 38 l 18 g i dropped thirty fish in the week i was small river fishing in pennsylvania. I didn't get a single muskie in the net...the struggle is real my dude. there can be no triumph without heartbreak. never stop fuskhing embrace the suck and keep fighting.
@@TodaysAngler That’s a great thing to hear, I have a cart at Rollie and Helen’s full of baits, lots of ghosts and whites, walleye patterns with chartreuse tails.. the water is just so clear here all the time, especially in the south channel
seal that’s a good knot but I had that same problem with losing lures until I started using 80 pound braid. So I would suggest you to start using 80 pound braid
the people in the campground where i was fishing called the cops because i was screaming when i dropped that 55 inch leviathan. the sheriff was awesome .
i thought it was going to be pictures of giant fish and rainbows. it was torrential rain body pain and let down after let down. these are the realitlies of muskie fishing

You fish for them regularly or just casually here and there?
boredom insane exitement sorrow anger it's truly the skydiving of fishing
Does anyone know any companies that make a topwater popper for musky? I figure itd be a good approach for more pressured fish.
Do you guys recommend any good lure retrievers? I’ve lost too many lures while musky fishing and it hurts every time.
What strength line do you use and what knot do you use
Nick Taylor 65lbs braid and palomar
seal that’s a good knot but I had that same problem with losing lures until I started using 80 pound braid. So I would suggest you to start using 80 pound braid
