Ghanaian sister here 👋🏽 I'm surprised some people think Mount Zion movies rubbishes the Yuroba culture. My mum and I learnt to speak the Yuroba language from your movies. We started speaking it together. God called her home in 2021🙏🏾, but some of my fondest memories are our Yuroba-speaking days! 😄 Anyway Jaymikee, she was one of your biggest fans. Nasara was her ringtone for almost 2 years till she passed away. She used to listen to it almost everyday. So we played it for her as her casket was carried out of the Chapel. Much love from Ghana 🇬🇭

'Traumatized' is a lie, it was those movies that brought mzfm to limelight in the 90s. Fine we were scared by some seens as young children back then, but there was something about the movies that kept pulling us back to watch them. We cannot deny the spiritual realm of the world we live in, and those films were an eye opener.

I totally agree.. I watched these movies and didn't even know they were from MZ then. I only found MZ again in 2010 and that was a miracle that propelled me into believing the call I heard from God about the performing arts ministry. It was only then I realised, I had watched some of these when I was much younger here in Ghana. The MZ movies that speak to me a lot are the ones that highlight prayer and ultimate power of God. That said, I am patiently waiting for Abejoye 6.

As a young girl later teenager then young adult l watched MZFM remember how the films came to tv on NTA lbadan then. There are very few of the films that l do not have. When l married and eventually had my children l was glad to introduce MZFM now that my children are older they will be dragging my phone to check especially when Bro Damilola has dropped a film on Sunday after church. Any backlash can not reduce the impact and the mandate that Daddy Mike is discharging in his time indeed he is a man of destiny and l will like to say more is coming

Those movies demystified the powers of darkness.
Are they also traumatized by the scary testimonies that come out of #nsppd?
The movies are faith-challenging and reminds you of the height you have fallen from as an S.U member. That you are in the world but not of the world
Abejoye on its own was a reminder that if sinners are buddy-buddy with you then check yourself. There is meant to be a difference of opinion, clashes, standing out etc not this present everyone is a believing Christian but no difference.
Till date, my very good friend still calls me Ayamatanga 😂

We watched Arelu, Igbo Elegbeje, Koto Orun, and all the secularly likes in the 80s, and we 'enjoyed' them as kids. When MZ came to light, our passion was substituted for the glory of Christ. Agbara-nla was in deed a brilliant leap for us. It became a mini crusade each time at the house where we watched the series. It was a 'sin' to miss an episode. And ever since, God has been blessing the Bamiloyes to nurture our soul with soul-lifting contents up till today. We are never traumatised.
We are waiting for Abejoye S6.
Thank you daddy and mummy Bamiloye, Damilola and Joshua, and all the crew members. Cheers.

For me, mount zion movie helped shapen me. Even though, I grew up in a christian home but saw the practicality in Mount zion movie. For example, I was determined not to fall for premarital sex, compromise in workplace, the need to be filled with the power of the holy ghost and discerning of spirit. I was determined not to fall in areas where people fell in the movie. Just like we watch and we are like oh no, I strongly believe then that is how heaven is watching me even as a teenager.
Secondly, no matter how deep a mount zion film is in terms of showing evil forces, I have never had a bad dream. However, If I make a mistake watching any nollywood movie that shows anything occultism no matter how simple, I will have bad dream. This is to show you how much they prayed that the right message be passed. God bless Mount Zion in Jesus Name

Hello, I am a Kenyan and I was introduced to Mount Zion Movies around July 2020 and more specifically to the Abejoye series by a friend. It was the first Christian movie I watched and I would strongly feel the power of the Holy Spirit around and upon me. I remember the day I finished watching the series up to date then that I started developing a serious cold and cough. That night I had an encounter in a dream and I woke up whole. That was the very first time that had ever happened to me, that is getting healed in a dream. I was so intrigued. I can only say I learnt of and picked that spiritual dimension in Abejoye. You people are doing an amazing work for God and I pray that you will never tire and may you always be refreshed to even do much more.
As for how many Mount Zion movies I have watched since then, countless is the answer. I really look forward to the release of Abejoye Season 6. Thank you and be blessed.🇰🇪🇰🇪🇰🇪

Thanks Jay Mike...some of us will be forever grateful to God for the MZFM.
When I was growing up, my family watched APOTI ERI and my mother encouraged the family to adopt Friday's as Fasting and Prayer day (although some of my cousins still make jest of us about this practice) .
That has greatly and positively impacted me growing up through Secondary, Tertiary schooling and even afterwards.
Exactly, as Daddy Mike said, Agbara Nla may be scary to a child, but it instilled "Godly Fear" to some of us.
More Unction, More Grace to MZFM and all members of the body of Christ to fulfil our respective callings in Jesus name.

I'm not African or Nigerian. I love Mount Zion movies. Why I love them? It is because I believe that it is a unique way of teaching Almighty God 's word. For me every movie is a message. A couple of years back I told Evangelist Toyin Eso-Fautosin and her husband that God has given His children in Nigeria a special and unique gift and way of spreading the gospel. What your Mother and Father did with their giftings from God was and is awesome. The devil is not happy with Mount Zion but there is nothing he can do about it. God bless Mount Zion Faith Ministries.

Those of us who grew up practically seeing masquerade, occultic, principalities and daylight wickedness displayed in our communities in the west, Kwara and part of Kogi have a different story. You can't have open air crusade without agbara nla back then. It was the easiest way to preach the gospel of libration from bondage many individuals, families and communities were around my part of Kogi State. I live in the east now, Mount Zion Yoruba films is the closest link my children have to the Yoruba culture. Mount Zion film is the official film in my house. May children children can "teach" jaymikee some of his songs. My children went to a programme attended by pastor Lawrence Oyor in Enugu for a whole day and told they were not hungry because of his connection with Mount Zion. God bless you all.

The interpretation of the "chants" from AGBARANLA was so rib-cracking🤣🤣🤣🤣! Those are just proverbs, and adages. Any Christian who would think that a servant of Christ would be employing ENCHANTMENTS in the service of the Lord, is still immature. I'm so glad I watched this interview! Daddy Mike said some powerful things to us, as ministers of the Gospel.

my first introduction to Mount Zion Movies was "Unprofitable Servant" dramatized live at the Main Auditorium in UNIBEN in early 1990s. The impact was so profound. I saw the power of the Holy Spirit overwhelmingly manifest....especially in convicting multitudes of people (including myself).....especially the last scene when the Old-Man revealed himself as the Holy Spirit...it was a significant climax that broke me and almost all watching it.
    I will never forget it.
That was how i became engrossed with Mount Zion movies, from video cassettes to video CDs then later RUclips...
They have all been of great impact to my early live as a Christian....
"The Gift of God is not to put food on your table, but to feed the world". This is profound. Little wonder the ministry did and is still doing great exploits
May God continue to bless Evang. Mike Bamiloye and his family and team.

Back in the late 80s, I remember how as a kid, I'd go with my mom to her friend's place on the next street to watch Yonpon-yonrin in which there were two protagonists in the story: Fadeyi oloro vs Aworo. I remember how riveting it was then even as a child. It was on Sunday evenings around 5pm or 6pm. The somewhere around 1990/1991, I became aware of Abija-wara-bi-ekun, another iconic character. I lived for about three months with my cousins, and Koto-Orun was a TV staple in their house. Then I became born-again in late 1991 in a Pentecostal church (I was eight), and then in 1993, Agbara came on the scene. I was 10. I remember how we'd be rushing home to go watch Isawuru in Abule Muwonleru, and Aro meta. God bless Evangelist Mike Bamiloye and the MZFM folks for the good works over the years. Only Heaven can reveal the true worth of your work and the rewards attached to it. I pray none of you miss their rewards both in this life and especially in the world to come. And thank you Jay-Mikee for your content. Keep up the good work!

Frankly speaking, I was scared back in 1994 when I saw the series on Tv. I was in Jss 2 going to Jss 3.
The intro was scary and the delivery was also scary.
But looking back now in hindsight I can tell you that it was aimed at unravelling the the diverse manifestations of the powers of darkness and how salvation and faith in God makes them powerless.
Now I appreciate what God did through those movies now, because back then though the movies scared us but we were compelled to watch because they were no other options available like we have it today. Also like Evangelist Bamiloye said, there were so many scary movies back in the days, notable amongst them particularly in the south was hot cash (wiliwilli)...

This is the best and most educating interview of daddy that i have watched. 25mins full of education. I must say however, that its our parents and pastors fault to have exposed us to such movies while young and this was also due to ignorance of the mental effect it might have on us. At the time in our church, Agbara nla night was revival night which means my mum will close her shop early and we all go to church to watch and pray for another hour. I must say, everytime we cme back home, its always difficult to sleep, so to be fair, it was traumatising. Also, i was exposed to Ide Esu too, and the appearance of Esu in that movie hunted me for a very long time. I am doing my best now to guide my own children on what movie to watch so they dont experience such. However, looking back, no other movie, even in the secular world in nigeria as had same impact since Agbara Nla. I can see the same script within Abejoye but mordeenised and thats why its popular and interesting. I dont know if Daddy knows, but the secular world of Nollywood are extremely jealous of what Mount Zion has achieve and they have stolen countless of scripts from mount zion movies. May God continue to help daddy and mummy and you the children. I would love to see an interview of dad and mum about how they maintain their marriage during those busy periods. God bless

Abejoye took my Christian life even with my children into a new level, at the moment I feel like I need to fight some spiritual warfare, and then I've bombed into the video shackles which I believe is going to help me as an accompany at this time.
Mount Zion has been indeed a blessing to me and mine, I pray for more strength from heaven for the ministry in Jesus name 🙏🏽

Then we always reference to the words of God in the movie whenever we want to pray. I can never forget Agbaranla, Ide-esu, & many more.. Daddy Mike, thank you once again for the take home word "Your talent is not meant to feed your family alone but to feed the world, when you feed the world, you can not be hungry". 🙏

I just bagged a degree in Theatre…this was due to my early exposure to MzFM films.
-Power Encounter (english version of ultimate power)
    -Blood on the altar
    -The fruitless tree
    -Haunting shadows
    -Hell razer
    -The forgotten ones
    -Ide esu
And even the most recent Abejoye. Mzfm films have become a culture and I feel peace, strength and nostalgia when I view their content.
I gulp everything Mzfm, I’ll always have room for more!

I was in Junior Secondary school when my dad brought home Part one to nine of Agbara nla it was a captivating movie and I was upset because school had resumed and we weren't done watching it. For someone to called it atramatising movie is not right. It built our faith and showed us God's power at work and His backup when we live in obedience. Fast forward today my children love mount zion movies and we have testimonies from watching it. Yoruba eole should be proud because as a Northerner I am look forward to our Brethren producing more movies like Land of fury, Mugun zamani amongst others. I can't overemphasize how my spiritual life has been lifted watching mount Zion movies over the years. When I was much younger we watched almost all mount Zion movies in my family - The Ultimate Power, The Unprofitable servant, The gods are dead, Just a little sin etc. They helped to build my relationship with God. Mount Zion movies are filled with powerful phrases that stay glued to my heart e.g 'The gods never said that, because the gods cannot talk' which was spoken in the movie 'The gods are dead' always rings in my ears and reminds me that God is the all powerful and other gods are nothing. Latest movies also leave me spiritually awakened each time and I'm always looking forward to new ones. I will encourage parents to expose their children to these movies.

Also, "The Accountant" - I was passing by when I heard the accountant say, "I work for God through this position". I went inside and finished watching the movie.
"The Train".😌 We may not where God is leading, but we can rest assured that He has a good plan. Our lives and callings are bigger than us and our imaginations. Trust and obey. #journeyofFaith.

Mount Zion's movie has been a great part of my life since my childhood. Yeah! Then according to the story line, It was always scary at beginning but the light of God always showed up at the end of the tunnel. The only problem then was our parents failing to keep us from getting exposed to the movies, just like Evangelist Mike Bamiloye said, the content wasn't really meant for children. Mount Zion has been a great blessing to our generation and it's still a great blessing now. The future is even brighter now with grace of God.

I’m honestly surprised that people diss Mount Zion movies. Like, how??? I'll say it out loud: of the few things that have helped me become the person I am today, Mount Zion movies are one. In fact, the movies "ginger" you to do more for God and refuse to settle for less in terms of spiritual matters. Nowadays, it's uncommon to find movies that drive you to the place prayer. God is to be praised for what He has accomplished in my life through these movies. Take Abejoye as an example; I've seen the entire series over and over again and will continue to do so. Each series offers a wealth of lessons to be learned.
