Ivan hello! Do you have any tips on converting an image with color gradients from png to sva that maintains the color and gradient? The png logo I'm testing out looks good when I open it up in my photo app on my computer; however when I import into Blender the logo shows up but its black with all sorts of topographical looking lines throughout.

Thank you so much, to get the bevel you have to select in edit mode the whole profile you want to apply it to, then press ctrl+b to add the bevel, you can change the width and number of edges you prefer!

Just stumbled across this tutorial in my RUclips feed. Here’s my honest feedback: Cool looking result, and generally easy to follow. However, you do a lot of telling people what to do, without explaining why. This makes your tutorial less of a learning experience and more of a recipe for reproducing these exact results. That’s fine if someone wants to replicate this look exactly, but less helpful for someone trying to learn the underlying principles at play here (SVGs, modeling, remeshing, hair particles, etc.)
I encourage you to take a bit of time explaining _why_ you do the things you do. Why was it important to planar decimate the mesh? Why do a remesh, rather than simply using the extruded and beveled mesh? How did you arrive at the particular values you used for length, roughness, etc. in the hair settings? Show some of that experimentation and how different values yield different results. Including these things will make your tutorials far more valuable. As a bonus, carefully thinking through these details will improve your own Blender skills!
