Something I like about Orbital is that they do not succumb to neurotic affect or madness...somehow they emerge with something inspiring or life affirming greatness in the momentum. Some techno of the era becomes so affected and dragged down by a sinister vibe. Bands like EON are freaking awesome, but leave you with a bit of psychic trauma afterwards. Not so with Orbital, they are more a phenomenon.
No. This was recorded live for the John Peel show on BBC radio 1. Sept 93. Released on vinyl ep 1994. I bought this instead of lunch at college for a week. £2.99 😮😮😮. Jesus m and j. I'm old. 😂.
This EP is an absolute gem from the Orbital catalogue. I love how 'hard' techno the versions are. Very reminiscent of the 'goa trance' of the 94 era. And the B-side just beautiful. Subtle & spacey
Without any doubt, Orbital's best piece. Amazed, it's not more well known
Agree 100%

I remember listening to this on the John Peel Show the night it went out - still a banger of a session even today.
yep me too
I bought it on vinyl the next year. I wish I could have bought more.
Nice one for uploading all of it. Its a fantastic EP, if you're an Orbital fan it's essential.
When the laugh track starts then the fun starts.
