I charge my canon batteries with a ISDT LP2 AIR charger. ISDT makes good equipment and I have several of their chargers for my lipoly drone batteries. The LP2 AIR runs off usb-c and can connect to your phone for monitoring the stats but is easy to use. They make a few versions for sony in the NP2, NP2 AIR, and NP2Go which is similar to this reviewed product with a 10,000ma internal battery. I have not used the sony versions as I do not have sony equipment (yet). I have a large Anker power bank I can run my charger from as well as high output 12v usb adapters so I am not sure I need an charger with built in battery. I believe I prefer the charger and power system to be separate since batteries degrade over use and time so it would be easier for me to just replace a battery bank/charger.
thank you for your awesome overview! I purchased first version today and immediately cancelled the order when I saw this 👀 But now when I think about it, isn’t keeping your batteries always plugged (ie inside this case) deplete your battery life? is there a way to halt charging the batteries? that’d be an awesome feature!
Hi Phil, this looks pretty interesting indeed ! In February we'll come to costa Rica, which will be our first exposure to hummingbirds .. As I told you I intend to resist upgrading my R5 to the R5ii for a while, but in order to avoid rolling shutter, I'm mostly shooting in EFCS the last year. Great IQ, but EFCS eats battery at least 4 times faster than ES, and to make matters worse when the battery is beyond halfway, the fps in EFCS are dropping a lot. This Llano could just be the cure 👍 I did try your link for Canon .. but it doesn't ship to Belgium yet 😞 Even when the Llano store on amazon is able to list a price in Euro .. maybe I need to check back in some weeks/months ?
@@PhilThach It looks nice indeed Phil! More handy than charging a single smallrig LP-E6NH via usb from a normal power bank. Nearly the same Llano charger, but without the included powerbank is shipping to Belgium .. When the Canon version only surfaced between you recording and posting this video, it may even start shipping to me before you're married to Heather 😛
@@PhilThach oh ooh .. a UK link would not be helpful at all 🙈 The great Brexit makes things between UK & EU a huge mess !! In July we had holidays in Scotland. First time with a full EV. Scotland has its own charging network. But you can only download the app when inside the UK. Requested an RFID a month in advance .. they mailed back they didn't ship those bloody cards "overseas". Once there, half their charging stations didn't work with their own app. Their helpdesk was able to tell me which chargers did accept the app .. and by then their policy changed so they'd figured out how to ship overseas. When we returned, their RFID was in the mailbox 🙈
I just looked at the one for Canon through your link. Wondering why it lists R5 & R6 as compatible, but no R7? Any idea whether the R7 are the same as the R5-R6 batts, and if they work in this charger? Love your channel. You do a great job. Really appreciate your work.
Looks interesting! How does charging work if both the internal powerbank and both camera batteries need charging? When you plug it in, does it charge all three at once, or does it give precedence to the powerbank or camera batteries? Do the batteries (and the charger) get hot during charging? Thanks in advance!
@@joop558 indeed, I have a link in the description for the Canon version as well. When I made the video it wasn’t available, but by the time I posted it it was.
A power bank with interchangeable sockets for batteries would be very cool . Well done LLANO, keep making cool stuff.
Oh, I like that idea!

Definitely be handy for camping Phil. Traveling too. Thanks for the look at the charger. Yeah one for Nikon would be good.
@@adrianalfordphotography I hope they let me test a Nikon version!
That’s a great device Phil! I will look for a Nikon version. Thanks for the review!
I'm hoping they send me the Nikon version to review when it comes out!
Ty so much for sharing another wonderful video like always Phil 🤗

Sorry, I’m not sure about international orders but it is definitely a nice product.

That may be for the wrong battery. I'm struggling to find a UK link for the correct Canon battery. Hopefully they will have it soon.
