This method no longer works.
1. You can't breed the chickens produced by the minions. They give hearts, but no new chickens.
2. If you pick up the minions to try to make more chickens, the previous chickens vanish.
So you can only get 5 chickens per minion. Which, when I tested just now, laid 5 eggs in 10 minutes. Which is less than you can get straight from the minions with an enchanted egg in the upgrade slot.

I think they patched it but i use water to make the chickens go away from the minions if that'll help you out

what he just said. minions will spawn all the entity and then do the process of kill -> respawn. you skip the kill and reset the spawn count of each minion by just picking them up and placing them back down to repeat it over and over. base on the video of his explanation i guess.
